Not on the Vegas strip, but close enough that you could walk there or take the free hourly shuttle that drops off at Treasure Island. Because of its close proximity, Uber is not a pricey option either. I personally liked the calmer vibe of not being on The Strip, but more importantly, this resort has free on-site self-parking. We rented a car to explore some things all around the city (and just outside the city), and paying $20+ per day to park was something I just wasn't willing to do - so it was great to have parking included in the rate. The room was spacious and clean. We loved that the room had a kitchen stocked with all the wares (and a dishwasher to clean them). The service was great. Any time we called front desk with a request it was accomodated in a timely manner. The pools and cabanas were amazing and never too crowded. The little shop near the front desk was well stocked with foods, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), snacks, otc medicines, etc. The only thing that could be construed as annoying is after check-in the front desk directs you to a Members desk to get room keys. There they try to sell you on a timeshare program. They weren't overly persistent after I made a few declines, but I could see how that would annoy others. What I did find sneaky is that I had to go back to front desk to get my room keys, so the initial claim that I had to get room keys at Members desk was apparently a lie. Other than this, everything was perfect. It was really convenient to have direct elevator lobby access from the valet (without having to go through main lobby). Entering from the rear of building (after self-parking) was also a short walk to elevator lobby. All-in-all this was a comfortable experience, and for the price we paid it was a great value.

This place was AMAZING !! My wife and I stayed for about 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were here. The employees that we interacted with were all very pleasant, outgoing and engaging ( Bianca and Sam at the front desk, Cara at the morning coffee bar and Chris the valet were among the standout employees ) and had both of us saying that we'd *easily* stay here again. If I could give more than 5 stars I would readily do so without hesitation. We arrived quite late on Friday night / Saturday morning ( about 1:30 AM ) due to several flight delays and, as a result, the room we had booked was not available...but Bianca upgraded out accommodations to the suite shown in some of the pictures. We *LOVED* it ! Almost every morning we went to the coffee bar and spoke with Cara and then walked out to the pool to sit and have breakfast, have our coffee ( mine was cold coffee with caramel sauce and whipped cream as toppings ) or just wade through the shallow end of the pool. Any of those are very relaxing ways to start your day...trust me. Any time we had questions, we were quickly able to find a helpful employee. My only regret is that I didn't get the opportunity to play Ms. Pac Man and Galaga in the game room. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I honestly can't recommend this place enough...for the room, the niceties ( several pools, outdoor restaurant [ which had GREAT food ], game room, snack room, etc. ) and for the helpful and courteous staff. A very hearty two thumbs up !! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Look at this carpet. Two rude guys at the front desk did absolutely nothing. There are so many better properties in Vegas. Did get a call after I checked out (11AM was latest they could do even thought I am Wyndham Diamond) and manager made it a point to interrupt my vacation with a a phone call to inform me that they would do absolutely nothing except leave some note in my Wyndham account warning hotels about me. But wait I thought you weren't "Wyndham"! I thought you are Vacation Getaways and had nothing to do with Wyndham even though it says Wyndham on your shirt? Actually the company is Travel and Leisure Co. Michael D. Brown (president & CEO)[1] Michael Hug (CFO) and they make sure nobody knows the real name because they want to get away with filthy rooms.

Great non-casino hotel with large highly efficient home away from home slightly dated but well kept rooms near The Rio Casino and Hotel. We would have given 5-stars if this property wasn't aggressively pushing for time share ownership.

Would recommend this hotel/resort only if you have a rental car (no charge for parking). It's quite a walk to the strip and not a great area a few blocks the opposite way heading to chinatown.

After check-in the staff at the front desk would refer you to 'Member Services' to obtain various property/resort info and to obtain a wrist band (which really you don't need as your room key will give you access to the gym, elevators, parking lot doors, etc.). Just beware Member Services means aggressive Time Share Sales pitch even when you are passing by the front entrance of the lobby (they have amazing facial recognition talents).

The property was impeccably clean (we walked throughout our room and partially in the hallway in our white socks and they were still white! Never happened before!) in all areas from lobby, elevator, trash rooms, hallways, gym, etc. Please note this property did not offer daily housekeeping during our stay but found it easy to obtain towels, soap, toilet paper, etc. if we happen to pass by the housekeeping staff or usually they would leave the housekeeping trolley strategically in the hallway (which this is new experience for us but was happy with replenishing the supplies ourselves ... if we had to continually ask the front desk staff that would have been a pain).

Every floor has a trash room where you can discard your trash and recycling easily.

Noisewise we found we never heard our neighbors but the doors are so heavy that you could hear them self close loudly in the middle of the night.

The room had a large sized TV could swivel but it would have been nice if it was a smart TV where you could cast from your phone. Ample channels to choose from.

Our corner studio suite included a very well stocked large kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, larger sized bar fridge and coffee machine (detailed pics attached).

The washroom was huge with a glass enclosed shower. Only complaint was that the wonderfully fig scented shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash was all only 1/3 full for a 5 night stay and a hosed flexible showerhead would have been handy rather than a single spray stationary showerhead. We found the same 1/3 bottles in our friend's one bedroom suite washroom down the hall. Our room also had a sink and mirror outside the washroom which we found very handy.

The closet had ample hangers, safe, plunger, floor/carpet sweeper and luggage rack (more than your average hotel room but par for the course time share suite).

At the activities desk near the guest elevators be sure to check out the board for special activities which usually happens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (not much during Mon - Thurs).

Not sure if it's daily - one day in the front lobby during mid-afternoon there were some complimentary alcoholic mixed drinks.

The parking in the rear of the resort was suffice with an overflow lot by the pool.

The resort provides complimentary shuttle service to Treasure Island on the strip (see schedule of pic below). Usually quite full as it's a mini bus especially on fridays and saturdays when sundown hits. Leaves the resort on the hour and leaves Treasure Island 1/2 past (example - leaves resort at 7pm .. leaves treasure island to return to resort at 7:30pm).

We did not check out the pool during our visit but apparently it is heated and it looked lovely with poolside food and beverage service with limited hours.

Overall we would definitely stay at Club Wyndham...

Never again In my life .... I will start by saying I travel a lot to San Diego The Wednesday before my weekend at this hotel has stayed at Tahiti resort which It was phenomenal when we tried to book another nite . It was already sold out and I booked two nights at this hotel I came here with my kids. I wanna make something clear. I do have a boyfriend, but I was gonna take the presentation by myself because we don't live together we get to the room and my daughter and grandkid stay in the sofa bed when we unravel the blankets. There was hair and there was stains in the blanket. The shower had bad leaking. We call downstairs to get a different blanket. It took about three hours because they only one person working was maintenance the next day when we got down to the pool, my daughter went to go get some small bites for my grandkid. they took about an hour or an hour and 30 minutes for them to tell us the food was ready when it was finally time for me to go get the presentation. I went upstairs and didn't know where to go. I find my way and when I finally got to the place I stand outside by the door for like at least 10 minutes before someone came outside and didn't acknowledge me, but I did ask her. Where do I need to go? She finally told somebody else and then somebody else walked me another maybe 3,4 ,5 rooms from that door then I went to check in .. nice girl! She asked me are you married ans I said Single yes I do have a boyfriend. I said ...we don't live together. Yeah he comes and stays at my house. Sometimes that doesn't mean we live together when they go based on what I said, and cancel me because according to them I said me And him live together so I left when I went downstairs and told the people they had booked me for a presentation ,he called upstairs and the person told him I said we live together anyway, so I wasn't gonna stand right there fighting argue about what I said or they said making my stay horrible at the end of the day, there's no way I would stay at this place ever again !! promises they give you their bullshit. I call on it. I will never ever stay here this was my experience and it was the worst hotel . I stay at the Cancun and at Tahiti. Those places are amazing and their customer service is wonderful. I will never stay in this place ever again not even in San Diego or where ever they have other Partnerships worst place...

Unforgettable Stay at Wyndham Desert Blue Las Vegas!

Our recent stay at the Wyndham Desert Blue in Las Vegas was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent service provided by the staff.

One of the standout features of this resort is the convenient trolley service that takes you directly to the Las Vegas Strip. This complimentary service made it incredibly easy to explore the vibrant nightlife, world-class entertainment, and endless dining options without any hassle.

The pool area at Wyndham Desert Blue is a true oasis. With its sparkling waters, inviting jacuzzi, and a fantastic bar right in the pool, it quickly became our favorite spot to relax and unwind. The poolside service was prompt and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed to enjoy our time in the sun.

As an owner, my family and I each received a VIP bracelet that unlocked a range of extra discounts and perks, making our stay even more enjoyable. This special touch added significant value and made us feel truly pampered throughout our visit.

We also appreciated the resortโ€™s pet-friendly policy, especially for service animals. This thoughtful accommodation made our stay even more comfortable and stress-free.

The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, providing a perfect retreat after a day of excitement on the Strip. The amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center and on-site dining options, added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.

In summary, the Wyndham Desert Blue Las Vegas offers a top-notch experience with its excellent trolley service to the Strip, beautiful pool area with a jacuzzi and poolside bar, and pet-friendly accommodations. The added VIP benefits for owners and their families were the cherry on top. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to have an unforgettable...
