This is a hidden gem with delicious food and excellent service! We were staying at the Club Wyndham Desert Blue right around the corner so I was looking for a restaurant in walking distance. I’m so glad I found this place. I was craving breakfast and was surprised to find that they had corned beef hash because not a lot of restaurants have it let alone cooked where it doesn’t taste like it came straight out of a can. I ordered the “Irish Connection” with the eggs sunny side up. Everything looked perfectly prepared. The eggs weren’t runny and weren’t overcooked. The hashbrowns were crispy on the top, but still tender and moist without being greasy. The corn beef hash was well seasoned and crisp without being burned. The two bacon strips were also perfectly crispy without being oily. The two sausage links were nicely browned on the sides without being burned and had a very, very good snap and were also tasty. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and super attentive. I would only get halfway through my Pepsi before somebody refilled it so I never had to ask for a refilled because they always topped off my Pepsi and water. My girlfriend asked me to bring her back an avocado skillet, so I ordered that to go. Even with the short walk back, when she opened the Styrofoam container, she was surprised how crispy the potatoes were and how fresh the avocados were. She really enjoyed her skillet and we would definitely go back the next time we visit Las Vegas.

Cafe located in business district. Simple exterior, but don't let that stop you from entering. Ample tables and booths to accommodate foot traffic. Seat yourself, Quick service. Staff make you feel at home. Priscilla and Mario have great personalities, and Pam is sweet and quick, and all of them provide excellent service. I found this sppt watching foot traffic from my hotel room In the morning, everyone walked around the corner like bees to a hive. One morning, hubby and I took our walk, and wouldn't you know it? we were walking behind the foot traffic, and everyone walked over to the Polaris restaurant. At first glance, it looked like a truck stop restaurant, but we decided to go in, and the rest is history. The service was quick. The food portions more than adequate. I had hashbrowns, eggs, bacon, and toast with Orange juice. I love hash browns and was pleasantly surprised that they were moist, not dry. Hubby had French toast, ham... both were just the right texture, not dry, eggs, and coffee. He cleaned his plate, and he is picky. I finished mine as well. We went back the next morning. This is our new spot for breakfast. We didn't have lunch there on travel no time. They were open until 2pm. Priced right, we spent about $40 for two plus tip.

Polaris Street Cafe in Las Vegas might not look like much from the outside, possibly a converted gas station? But don’t let its unassuming exterior fool you. This hidden gem serves one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in Vegas. I ordered the Mexican burrito, which came packed with savory fillings, fresh avocado slices on the side, and perfectly crisp hashbrowns. Every bite was a delight, and the flavors were spot on. The burrito was hearty and satisfying, and the hot sauce should be bottled and sold... oh and it added the perfect amount of heat to the meal. The service here was also fantastic warm, welcoming, and attentive. The atmosphere may not scream “fine dining,” but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff more than make up for it. If you’re in Vegas and looking for a delicious breakfast off the beaten path, Polaris Street Cafe is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We're in town for business. I knew this was the place when I saw all the dirty trucks in the parking lot when I pulled up. I pulled up at 8:00 on a Thursday morning. I got the Ranchero skillet because it's not just potatoes, onions and green bell peppers but mushrooms as well. Added a sourdough toast as well. Toast came with apple jelly. Would not have been my first choice but it was delicious. This breakfast sausage is next level. It's equivalent of 12 of those sticks that most places serve. The eggs were cooked exactly per my order. Not overdone, not underdone. They'll bring you ketchup and two types of hot sauce without having being prompted. Two bites in I felt guilty that I was there by myself and my wife was stuck in a business meeting somewhere else in town. The centerpiece plants on each table is an agave, in case you forgot that you're in the desert. Parking looks tight from the front but there's enough on the sides and in the back that you should be good. This is my fourth trip to Las Vegas in a span of 15 years, this is hands down, far and away, the best breakfast I've ever had in this state. I might be coming...
