VoidHeadz Gaming and Hobby — Local services in Paradise

Visiting from the UK while in town for DEF CON, and stumbled across this absolute gem — VoidHeadz Gaming and Hobby. What a find. This isn’t just a hobby shop, it’s a passion project brought to life, and it shows the moment you walk through the door.

Their Warhammer selection is excellent — shelves packed with kits, tools, and paints, including some hard-to-find items. I was genuinely impressed by the range and how well-organised everything is. The display cases are stunning too — some seriously high-quality paint jobs on show that any hobbyist would appreciate.

The staff? Top lads. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the hobby. We had a great chat about the local scene and even got some tips on kitbashing and loadouts. Proper community vibe here — reminded me of the best independent shops back home.

If you’re into miniatures, painting, tabletop wargames, or just need a break from the chaos of DEF CON, swing by. Worth every minute. Easily one of the best local gaming stores I’ve been to in the US — and I’ll be making a point to come back next time...

A very pleasant, local-friendly game-store. The owner was welcoming, do not be discouraged if the door is locked, I got surprised too because I arrived after sundown, merely safety reasons.

That aside, for a small store, there was a sense of passion put into the interior with how the owner puts up his own work on display. Very inspiring looking at the work.

Very nice organization of where the miniature boxes are— awesome game table set up too for game nights. And another cool thing I learned from the owner is that he could also order something that isn’t on stock, so that’s a plus if you’re in the area and in search of a particular...

TLDR: Make this your first stop.

A discreet hobby shop with a robust inside. Although one might think the shop is on the smaller scale, the gentleman has done a lot with what he has and it shows.

Looks to mainly be a 40k shop but it is stocked with various items of GW's other brands.

You'll have no problem finding your paint needs here. All citadel brands if memory serves correct.

There is a very nice battle table set up in the second area and maybe soon some battle reports will come out of this store.

The owner has great aptitude for service and was nice to chat with.

All in all, 5 stars for this LGS....
