READ TO AVOID BILLING NIGHTMARE! I started having appointments here in February. I was told I would have 30 minute appointments virtually. So the first thing is that I never had any appointment last 30 minutes (4 appointments total). 15-20 minutes tops per appointment, very basic information being asked and very basic advice given. Dealing with anxiety, I never felt comfortable to ask why my appointment wasn't lasting 30 minutes. I figured I would just be billed for the time I did get with my Dr. But unfortunately I was billed each time for 30 minutes. And thats the next thing that was an absolute nightmare.. The billing process or their billing company that they used is awful. When I first called "Anywhere clinic" I asked if they took Anthem Blue Cross which is what my card said. It turns out that on the back of my card it says my actual mental health insurance through blue cross is MHN. So "anywhere clinic" tried to bill Anthem and Anthem told them that they needed to reach out to MHN with my billing information. I never heard anything back from them after that one call about my insurance needing to be sent to MHN. I eventually got this huge bill in the mail stating that my insurance didn't cover anything. Long story short I had to call my insurance to see what I needed to do about this since their "billing department" never answered any calls or ever called me back after leaving more than 14 voicemails throughout 2 weeks. By the way I had all 4 appointments before they told me this issue with my insurance. I stopped the appointments immediately. So I called my insurance (MHN) and explained everything and she explained to me that I didn't do anything wrong and it is their responsibility to get your insurance card to see who to bill before you even have one appointment. Since it was virtual she said they should have asked me for a picture or a scan of the front and back of my card. My insurance lady ended up calling their billing department, as a 3 way call with me, and used the "provider" option instead of the "member option" that I had to chose and she literally got someone on the phone in seconds. My insurance lady ripped her a new one, giving this lady all the information again which she said they didn't have. But my insurance lady said she had conformation that their billing department did have this information because theres records of the phone calls and information that was given to them. This lady from the "billing department" had no idea what to say but took the information again. You'd think they would try to especially help people in this situation because it is dealing with mental health. This was an absolute nightmare. They're apparently getting it sorted out now but its already been 3...
Read moreTheir assembly line line intake process doesn’t even work. I was supposed to be waiting, it’s now 2 months abd I’m the one calling about their faulty paperwork to insurance abd follow-ups. Constant lies. Better off self-medicating.
Second tx, nice staff but couches not comfortable and still problem with communications as I still can’t get an apot with my dr….sonething very simple esp since he does work there. Trying yo be patient now that the tx has finally begun after delays since Nov due to their poor comms.
Ahh, my television with the dr on Sat was interesting and left me not really sure what’s going on.
The 3rd tx was very melancholy from the start then depressing, but they are just the side efx of the initial taking of the med- 2 hours long. Hoping for a much better 4th session that eoukd be like the first which was amazing!
Tx4 is boring but almost relaxing. Couch is torture but the color changing light is cool. Blasted too much ketamine down my throat, yuck.
Tx5 was disappointing- at least I was in the room with the comfy couch and cool lights. Don’t like being treated by students- who, informed me as I left and was saying I’d see you on Friday, that it’ll be a bunch of new students…and I didn’t see any other staff - much less any MD or PA’s this visit…..wondering why I needed to be there for 2 hours when I have an Appke watch that constantly checks my pulse and pulse ox plys a bp checker at home which is far more relaxing and comfy than then their office. If I suffered sone kind of reaction, what was the student going to do? Call the puzza man, 921? My aide is trained EMT and woukd be with me at hone. This and getting very conflicting info from providers and staff is not making me happy, esp when I see ads for oral Jetamibe than ships with a bp cuff to do at home…..though oral isn’t as effective, per Calm and my own research, but I was considering it during the 3 month delay- which my Calm dr and Calm owner offered to have me come in and take the oral torches….for a fee….id rather pay the fee to the place that was going to get me set-up via FedEx and not just try to get me in as a customer in another week or two. Very disappointed. I hope the txs do sonething positive in the near future as I can’t find any reliable info into how fast they work. Remember, what I experience there are directs…. Furst fuse was way cool, the rest were very boring, one very disturbing because of the couch and it was too difficult to take pain meds as I was a bit out of it and didn’t feel like leaving morphine pills behind for next sky-pilot. Tx 6 is next Friday….im sure they’ll email me BEFIRE I even arrive to comment on...
Read moreI absolutely enjoy my visits to the calm clinic starting my mental health journey here was one of the best decisions I could of made for my well-being. Elisha Ross in the Boise office has exceeded my expectations of what a mental health expert should be, a true blessing. With that being said I am very dissatisfied with the rest of the company from the call center to the new Healthie app./ medical information platform that is being used it makes it very difficult for the exchange of information between myself and the rest of the Calm Clinic. I understand that things take time and working out imperfections with new systems it's just the way things are sometimes but I feel that I've been understanding and patient but in my view see the situation getting worse instead of improving. In dealing with Elisha Ross I feel nothing but warmth compassion and understanding she goes out of her way to do what is needed in improving my mental health and generally speaking goes above and beyond, in dealing with the rest of the company my experience has been frustrating and has left me with the very cold impersonal feel about the way they run there business. It is my belief that the only reason they have a practice in Idaho is because of the efforts of Elisha Ross, she understands Idaho and the way things work here and the way the people are. Idaho is a very different place and people here demand courtesy, respect and don't waste time on anything that doesn't have a personal feel. It is my belief that in dealing with the rest of the company that is located out of state that they don't have the understanding of what it takes to run a successful practice in Idaho. I get the distinct feeling that the powers that be have never been to Idaho and don't understand it is a very unique place and in my opinion maybe need to come and experience it for themselves, what works in some places does not in others. Miss Ross is not only an incredible person but extremely good at her job and is the sole reason I give a five-star review. Elisha your awesome you have been my guardian angel through my mental health Journey. It is my hopes that the rest of the company can at some point see her vision and gain a little perspective on Idaho and how we do things. Miss Ross is worth all the trouble I've had to go through with the rest of the company my fear is that new clients may not stay to whether the same storm that I have and that would be a real shame, she potentially could help so many people in the...
