We have debated on getting a new sectional for years. We bought our couch in 2011 and it had a lifetime warranty on the frame and the cushions had removable covers and a great material for dogs. Almost a soft corduroy. The couch while it still looked ok started to have the back cushions sag and the seat cushions had worn down over the years and in some areas where it was well loved sank so much that you could almost feel the frame. We looked at new sectionals and even sofas and love seats and for what we wanted we were looking at 2700 to 3600 easily and that would be sacrificing the fabric to getting one that I knew would wear out with being a high traffic couch/bed when my brother visited/dog lounge lol. I was set on getting a similar foam to what we had which sank in pretty good but it did make me slouch. My husband wanted firm so years ago I did get new foam for his seat and it was so hard and miserable to me and honestly a bit firm for him as well. We were allowed to bring home two cushions to try out on our couch. I am glad we did because on our couch I actually did like the HR 40. In the shop I would have chosen the HR 30 immediately. The HR 40 makes it so I don't slouch back and need to have cushions behind me and up behind my head. We only have them on there now for decoration which is great. The couch still has nice give and for around 700 we got new cushions and wonderful soft topping they put under the fabric, new custom cases to put inside the back cases and they filled them to look brand new as well as fixing a broken zipper and stitching one that was getting near coming apart completely. I tried the couches last night to watch a show and I got up without back pain which has not happened in a couple of years. I came out this morning and it looks the way it did over 10 years ago. I am so glad we decided to keep our sectional because the fabric cleans so easily and I was so worried to get something else. My husband is happy because it is finally a place he wants to sit again. Read moreRedesign Upholstery was absolutely amazing! We had 5 barstools, 8 dining chairs, and 2 wingback chairs repaired and reupholstered by them and all pieces were just perfect. Everyone we worked with were extremely kind, helpful, and honest. We had originally selected a leather for the barstools but when the leather came in, Redesign Upholstery immediately notified us that the leather was a slightly different color than the swatch we selected from. After coming down to look at the leather, Redesign Upholstery accommodated a switch to a fabric instead. (They were very patient with me with all my changes!) The fabric we selected to replace the leather was discontinued and we ended up using all remaining stock. I had mentioned that we have a child and we discussed making removable and washable covers of the same fabric for the chairs my daughter uses. They were able to custom fit removable covers with the limited remaining fabric for these chairs that will make this reupholstery last so much longer. Ellie and Veronica are awesome… very, very nice people. They provided status photos via text and were very communicative throughout the process. The cost is very reasonable, and they work very quickly. I highly recommend Redesign Upholstery and will definitely use them again for any future upholstery needs. Because I couldn’t find any new set with the same quality and creamy color, I decided to refinish the chairs. My table is in excellent condition. I just can’t part with them. The staff expert helped me to select the fabric that will match well with the creamy color I liked. With Mario’s great assistance, we came to an agreement on pricing, processing and scheduling details. He was very patient and spent quite a bit of time to make sure I was satisfied before signing the contract. After that evening, I started to receive email notifications of ongoing status of the project. It was pleasantly surprised to me. What a well organized company I thought!! My chairs were picked up and delivered to my house after just a few days. The chairs look like brand new.
