Deer Valley Club Private Residences — Hotel in Park City

I’ve been a Deer Valley Club owner for 27 years (1995). This is by far the best kept secret in real estate in the Deer Valley/Park City area. This is considered “deeded interest” real estate. It’s similar to joining a country club for golf. It is not a time share.

I own a 4-bedroom & 2-bedroom unit. We have ski in/out access right at Silver Lake Village. There are approximately 190 owners that share 32 units (2, 3 & 4 Bedroom). Included in our quarterly dues are airport transportation as well as transportation in/around town during our stay. We have a support staff that operates the property like a hotel - daily room service as well as storage areas for all of our gear.

There is no limit to how much time we can spend at the club. All members submit reservation requests a few months in advance. Once those requests are filled, we book additional time via a “space available” calendar.

My family enjoys the club in both Winter & Summer seasons. One of the biggest benefits of the club is the tenure of the staff. The manager (Jeff) and assistant manager (John) have been at the club as long as I have.

THIS PLACE IS A KEEPER!

THIS WEEK IS OUR 4TH OR 5TH TIME STAYING AT THE DVC. THIS YEAR THEY CHARGED A $2500 WEEKLY FEE FOR A VARIETY OF SERVICES LIKE HOUSEKEEPING, AIRPORT AND LOCAL TRANSPORT, ETC. WHILE I UNDERSTAND THE FEE, AND NEVER LIKE DISHING OUT $$$, IT WAS WELL SPENT AND WORTH THE MONEY. ALSO, THE CLUB IS UNDERGOING RENOVATION SOON I BELIEVE, AND THE UNITS NEED THAT. OUR UNIT NEEDED A NEW HOT WATER HEATER AND KITCHEN SINK FAUCET WHILE WE WERE THERE, AS WELL AS A TOTAL MAKEOVER. REGARDLESS (!!!!!!!) THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. THE SKI VALET/SKI LOCKER ROOM IS PHENOMENAL. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING YOU NEED TO GET YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN! IF YOU RENT SKIS OR GET THEM TUNED, THEY PICK THEM UP. YOUR SKIS ARE ALWAYS READY ON THE MOUNTAIN FOR YOU. BASICALLY, THE ONLY THING THEY DIDN'T DO WAS SKI FOR YOU. WE USED THE AIRPORT TRANSFERS WHICH WERE SEAMLESS. LOCAL TRANSPORT BACK AND FORTH FROM DINNER WAS GREAT. ENDLESS HELP WITH OUR LUGGAGE, ETC. WAS PROMPT. WHAT A GREAT WEEK OF SKIING AT A PREMIER LOCATION WITH AN ULTRA-DEDICATED STAFF ALL RUN BY JOHN STONE! I HATE TO BE SO EXUBERANT AS NOW THERE WILL COMPETITION FOR WEEKS AT THE DVC IN THE FUTURE, BUT THE PLACE DESERVES...

Have been a club member x10yrs and have stayed in winter, summer and even fall (when club is usually closed but they made an exception). Jeff and team are highly professional, kind, considerate and competent. Units are well stocked, comfortable and well thought out.

The difference between DVC and many of the other places to stay at Silver Lake is that DVC is comfortable and elegant in a non-snotty and pretentious way. It’s not Steins, but it doesn’t aim to be Stein’s. The staff are kinder and more casual and other guests are more down to earth.

Every time we’re there we say to ourselves: “we wish we could just LIVE at DVC...
