This is honestly and easily the most disappointing Deer Valley experience I have ever had, and made worse by the fact that this was my partners first time to the resort.
First and foremost as with most places we have gone to a QR code menu, in this case it also entails the ordering experience as well. Previously this was a cafeteria set up where you moved through the line, watched your food prepared, made additions or subtraction as desired. The new ordering system barely allows for customization. My partner ordered a burger and asked the manager if there were pickles on it, we were informed that if it was not a selectable item like lettuce and tomato then it would not be included. This turned out to be false. My partner fines pickles to be something that once they touch the item, it spoils the meal. We swapped food because it took 30 minutes to have our questions answered and we were too hungry to wait again.
I had to ask 4 different individuals for black pepper which was not available on the table or anywhere else. 4 people and then it took a 5th to finally service the request. We felt forgotten. For an 90 dollar lunch the experience was horrendous. The turkey chili remains delicious though I traded for my partners burger since she would have gone hungry otherwise. I wish I could say this was a memorable experience in a good way but it unfortunately is an unforgettable one that crippled by what use to be a world class customer service experience. I don't know if we will return to Deer Valley this season, one chance to make a good first impression and I couldn't figure out a way to justify what occurred today...
Read moreA very impressive building with lots of space for families and couples with a full upstairs bar. There’s plenty of options for food as well as a separate counter for bars and snacks. The main food pick up collection is extremely busy with really nice stuff but it just takes forever to get your food and to pay for it it goes real slow I feel a bit of organisation in this part of the Silverlake Lodge would go a long long way The upstairs bar is amazing. It’s quite small but it’s a full service bar is also table service downstairs as well reservations are a definite must if you’re sat downstairs in the general room the view are absolutely amazing and stunning revolted ceilings. It’s a very friendly by atmosphere. Plenty of tables does not take long to grab a table even when it’s busy a few more staff clearing plates, trays and tables would actually go a long long way in improving the amenities. But the outside tables and the views are 2nd to none and I could come back here every day just get a few more stuff on the actual OpenTable floor to clear plates and this will be bust improved I do have to say though on the website it clearly states a discount if you are on Ikon Pass holder however when you get to the checkout of the food the nice checkout ladies apologise to say this is no longer accepted and therefore you are paying full priceto me for a upscale one of the most expensive ski places in the world you would expect the website to...
Read moreAs this was my first time in park city Utah I was in love with the surroundings.it wasn't winter yet so there wasn't snow, but it was fall and colors were amazing. So does this place have great views? Of course it does and it was worth visiting. I attended a wedding event and it was great. Silver Lake Lodge were the ones hosting the party and their entertainment, their professional crew and meals were just amazing. If this is a place to have a wedding I definitely think it is a great place to have this event. I don't think a thing was missing and that this team from Silver Lake Lodge were...
