Went out for a dinner date here. Ordered the salmon. I’ve gone to other Longhorn restaurants and everything‘s been wonderful. This particular location I waited a long time to get service then to get the food and my salmon was raw inside. Literally raw inside. Took a while to find the waitress to let her know she said she’d bring me another piece of fish. Instead of getting a new piece of fish cooked properly, they took the same fish that has already been cut into and they probably microwaved it because it came hard and burnt on that bottom although it was cooked it was almost inedible. Spent about $30 for a piece of inedible salmon. The manager brought the re-cooked piece of meat out set it on the table and left never came back to see if it was okay. The waitress came back to the table 20 minutes later. My date had already eat his dinner by the time I got my dinner. My dinner was relatively inedible, and I only ate part of it. The waitress came back when it was time for the check. The manager never asked how things were after he brought the reheated fish. The manager or waitress made no accommodations or even offered anything. I would say this particular location has poor waitress staff and terribly trained management who felt it was best to reheat a raw piece of meat that was not edible rather than make a new piece of fish. I was still clear of this location. I rarely leave reviews because as a business owner, I don’t like people to leave bad reviews. However, I felt it was important to understand that the management did not do their job by coming over and talking to the customer that had an issue they should’ve done that and they should’ve tried to make sure everything was OK rectify it. This really made the evening a terrible experience and made me wait 45 minutes before I could actually eat anything that was not edible. I give this restaurant VERY low...

The meal started on a high note with the nice warm atmosphere and a delicious loaf of warm bread and butter, which unfortunately arrived late because our server had forgotten it at first. Despite his friendly demeanor, the service was disappointing overall.

The baked potatoes were fantastic--loaded and perfectly fluffy. However, the steaks were not cooked to the correct temperatures. I ordered a Ribeye Medium-Rare, but it came out Medium and Tough. My mother requested a Medium Filet Mignon, but it was served Rare and too bloody and tough for her to cut.

By the time the waiter checked on us to ask how "everything was," we were already halfway through our meal, having filled up on bread. He offered to replace the steaks, but we didn't have time. Surprisingly, he didn't offer any discount, even though he admitted his mistake. While I appreciated his honesty in checking his notes and admitting the error, a gesture of compensation would have been appropriate.

Another frustration was the lack of beverage refills. I had to ask another employee for a refill because our server was nowhere to be found for long stretches. This other employee, along with the hostess, was very nice and helpful.

Overall, the experience could have been great if not for the server's mistakes, especially since he only had three tables to manage. To cap it off, when he brought the check, he mistakenly swapped one of our receipts with the table next to us. I didn't notice this until I got home, but as my photo of the receipts shows, one copy had our total with another table's order list. I hope the other table didn't receive the discount that should have been ours.

In summary, while there were some positives and the server was a nice gentleman, the service issues and quality of the steaks (which is why we went) significantly detracted from what could have been an...

BEST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I haven't looked at steak or any other food I've had the same since I've been here. I've been here a few times and I can't wait to go back. Last time I came here was for my 23rd bday (June) and I had an amazing time (as always). I ordered steak and lobster and it was so amazing. The steak was super tender and juicy, the lobster was juicy and extremely flavorful and paired together was even better. My favorite thing to get from here tho is the parmesan crusted chicken. The chicken is always juicy, tender and full of flavor. It has a creamy parmesan topping that's to die for topped with crunchy parmesan that adds the perfect texture and extra flavor. I loved it so much I tried to make it at home, obviously it didn't come out as great, but I tried.

Update: Okay. So... I had to change my rating from 5 stars to 1 due to some major issues we had today. I'm pretty upset about my visit today. My husband ordered for us over the phone because the website wasn't working. The order was under his name, but I used my card. Anywho. My husband ordered the Outlaw Ribeye well done (no pink) and it definitely isn't well done. As soon as I got home from picking up our order, it's about a 10 mile drive btw (took over an hour to drive there and back), he cut into his steak and it was RED, not just a little pink, but red. And that was just in one part of his steak the rest was pretty pink. (We have some pics and I'll post them.) I ordered the 6OZ Filet Medium well (a little bit pink) with the lobster tail and my steak was rare. Way too red for me. I'm even too scared to eat my lobster tail. We had to put our food in the oven! I never had this problem before. It's extremely upsetting considering we've been coming here for years and this time we spent over $63+ on our food, we should not be having...

If visiting Phoenix and looking for good food this restaurant should be on your list. Oddly when I think of LongHorn Steakhouse I think of salmon. They have great steaks which is in the name of the restaurant, but who knew they had great salmon. I actually order salmon at Longhorn about 50% of the time. Today was one of those times. The host was nice and sat me right away. I knew they were not staffed as I only saw two or three servers running. I’m a very patient person so the 10 minutes wait to be greeted was fine as I just put in my ear buds and was watching a movie. She apologized which was nice and quickly took my order. The bread was actually hard and dry. I’m used to having nice, warm, soft LongHorn bread. My drink came out fast and the food was not too far behind. The food as usually never disappoints; yum, yum, and yum! Overall I recommend if you want good food in a comfortable setting then come to this LongHorn. As with most places there’s a staffing issue in service. Unfortunately, they have to figure that out because until robots or some other means of delivering food in restaurants happens it’s still needed. The service issue is why only four stars. Great food, good service; I hope this helps your decision.
