Paradise is by far my favorite bar. I usually only come here on week days, so the weekends may leave you with a different impression than what I can offer. Here are the highlights: 1. Quiet dive bar with lots of friendly, regular patrons, mostly 30+ year-olds just wanting to unwind with each other. 2. Huge smoking-friendly patio with industrial swamp cooling fan 3. Affordable prices! 4. Wonderful staff that give generous pours and are quick to learn your name and staple drink. 5. Piles and piles of board and card games, as well as TVs inside and outside. 6. Rarely roudy. Definitely not a place for your bachelorette party or messy black out drunks 7. $15 card minimum. 8. Live music on certain nights (I don't remember which nights!). Pretty solid cover bands usually playing classic rock.

As much as I love the craft breweries in the area, I’ve been looking for a low-key bar to make my hangout. I’ve definitely found it at Paradise Lounge- the beer is inexpensive and there’s a great variety, there’s a decent selection of bar good snacks if you get hungry, but you can also bring food in. Outdoor smoking patios are always fantastic if you like a cigar or cigarette with your drink, and there’s live music and games if you don’t just want to sit and drink. The only bartender I know so far is Jade but she was extremely friendly and took the time to chat with me despite being decently busy. This is the epitome of a neighborhood bar and I can’t recommend it enough.

So glad I found this little gem! The moment you walk in you are greated with smiles and most friendliest staff!!! You feel welcomed as if you are family. Service is outstanding. I even got special deviled eggs from Dede, what a yummy treat! Inside they have plenty of games! People are friendly and happy. Very easy going place. They have very cozy patio area in the back with plenty sitting area. I just love this place and will keep coming back!

First of all, it’s a very very small place behind a 31 flavors BR. It has no entertainment experience other than people giving you a weird uncomfortable look/stare the whole time you’re there. I walk outside told I couldn’t smoke there. So walked into the parking lot and I swear people followed me outside and just looked at me like I was a sideshow attraction. Very uncomfortable for myself and my Girlfriend. She said she got the creeps. Anyway neither one of us are going back. I recommend everyone judge for themselves tho. It’s just not for us. We like a fun positive atmosphere, with a chance to meet new people and share some laughs. More welcoming atmosphere. Not a feeling like you’re being judged. I guess we were dressed too nice. So just wear a tank top, cutoff shorts going commando and flip flops you will fit in perfect. It’s in paradise valley btw.. not Scottsdale haha bartender was green as heck! Although very nice. Asked what’s in a green tea after we ordered one. Are you serious lol she...
