The Burrito Exchange — Restaurant in Pico Rivera

I used to order from this spot and the food was okay. But now I will never order from them again. They have horrible business practices and no accountability. My wife ordered from them on Grubhub and the driver put that the food was delivered and took a picture of it but it wasn't in front of our door. My wife called him 3 times after seeing this as the picture showed the front of the apartment complex, which we came out to find the food but could not. The driver never responded to the calls and let it go to voicemail. Why would you put that you delivered the food but not only is it not at our door but you "dropped it off" at the front of the building where someone could easily come by and take it, yet as you will see there is no actual food anywhere in the photo. So at this point this is fraud. You are a terrible driver Juan from Grubhub and I hope people find out about you. So my wife cancels the order and reports it for a false claim to get her money back. This is where Burrito Exchange comes in. After she does so someone( I'm assuming the owner) calls my wife to complain about her canceling the order. He tells her that the driver comes in and delivers for them all the time and is a nice guy and so they believe he actually did his job and she's lying so they are going to red flag her so she can never order from them again because she cost them money! How terrible of a business do you have to have that you would contact the consumer and accuse her of fraud without evidence and do something like that? That should have been taken up with Grubhub. But instead you decide to let the consumer have it and you weren't even accurate about your drivers character?? If this business would conduct themselves in that matter towards us who knows how they might act toward someone else. Highly unprofessional! Be wary!

I got their speciality burrito which is carne asada n chile relleno. Im not a chile eater normally but i must admit its not something i would normally eat but i must admit it was different but good unfortunately the burrito was on the small side but the good thing is that it was only $7.25 + tax. We also got the chile verde burrito it was good but nothing special the sauce in the burrito was delicious but i didnt like how it was put together it seems like they just threw the chile verde over the carnitas so i don't think it was as delicious as can be if they were cooked together over all they different n unique tasting burritos. To me they weren't must have burritos n honestly for the price size n quality i dont think i would buy them again. It was a nice change from our usual burrito places we visit frequently but was it better than our usual places honestly no. But the good thing is u get a free Agua fresca/ fresh fruit water with every burrito ordered n they were delicious. Not your ordinary fast food spot. I passed by this place so many times without even knowing it was there until they put up a large banner. My husband and I decided to try it out today and we were so happy we did! The burritos were so good!! I had the asada relleno and my husband had the chile verde. The portions were generous, the flavors were very good and the tortillas were handmade which gave it an authentic homemade touch. The salsas were so good too! I loved the green tomatillo one and my husband loved the habanero one. Unfortunately they didn't have any aguas frescas available which was a little disappointing but it won't stop us from returning. We can't wait to try out other stuff on the menu especially for breakfast.
