To give validity of this review, I waited 90 days to share the experience. Sold us something we didn't need The first bed arrived with a hole in it which the rep at the store was A) not able to help a me as a customer, reschedule the replacement B) Mentioned it was MY issue to deal with even through the delivery team specifically asked the rep to... After mentioning that we run hot we were still sold a cover that other reps at other stores said run typically are the reason the bed is hotter than normal. When we requested to refuse the order due to the horrible communication and lack of transparency, the sale was Forced upon us. "Dont worry it will be great in 6-Weeks, we promise"

Well its passed those 6 weeks and for $2k this bed is below par, the customer experience simply horrible and oversold us with lies and overall not a company that I would ever like to engage with. It is also shocking when we went into other Mattress Firms to look for a replacement and the other sales reps are ALSO shocked that we were told to get a cover after saying we sleep hot. It only validated my unprofessional experience.

Now I know everyone is different and which bed you may like is 100% subjective, but the way the sale went down, the lack of care for the customer and the lack of communication that we had to deal with, simply doesn't cut it.

Obviously we got the short stick here and I am happy for the other people that have had great experiences but Mattress Firm does not deserve my money after this... not even the $79 return fee they will impose or the 699$ bed frame SCAM they are running that THEY DONT TELL YOU you CANT return until after the fact.. Cant say I didn't warn you, watch out...

TLDR: Joey is fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and is happy to answer any and all questions. He takes his time to help you figure out what kind of mattress you want and makes the whole experience a pleasurable one.

My mother and I went in looking for a new mattress since my has a major dip in it. I didn't know what kind of mattress I would be interested in at all, fortunately I was able to work with Joey. Joey took his time with me, teaching me all about the qualities and benefits/drawbacks of different mattresses based on my sleeping habits. Additionally, Joey was very honest and open, he shared his experience with mattresses which was a helpful reference point. Not only was he knowledgeable and patient, he was very personable, cracking jokes here and there. He truly made this a pleasurable and valuable experience.

I usually take forever to decide, and this was no different. At the end of the day my mother and I did NOT walk out with a mattress, because I was not pressured to make a decision on the spot and I was empowered to take my time to decide. This was my second best experience buying a mattress from the mattress firm in pleasant hill. I walked in looking for the sales associate that sold me my mattress (which was the greatest experience I’ve ever had lol) and that’s where I met Saul. I told him I was there to buy a mattress for my mother and I also needed an adjustable base as well. He wasted no time and showed me multiple mattresses that were in my price range and some that were not but were still a great deal. We went back and forth trying to figure out what would be the perfect mattress for my mother who has arthritis in her knees, back and shoulders. He explained why a softer mattress would be ideal for her and led me to a few options. The one I ended up making a purchase on was actually not in my budget but because he was such an amazing guy and genuinely showed concern for my mother, ended up giving me the deal of a lifetime.
