Super 8 by Wyndham Port Royal/Beaufort — Hotel in Port Royal

My honeymoon getaway weekend July 26-28 of 2024 my husband and I had to sleep in separate twin beds! First we reserved a king size bed room. At check-in was given two twin bed room downstairs after verbally telling front desk we reserved a king room. After correcting our room to a king up stairs. Took all of our belongings to the room only to find out that the TV and refrigerator doesn't work. Was give original two twin bed room because no other kings were available! When pointed out that I didn't want to sleep in separate beds on my honeymoon was told to push the beds together. Then another employee said not to because any damage to floor will need to be paid for. Called Wyndham customer service and they took all info down only to be told towards the end of conversation that this hotel is a franchise and there wasn't anything they could do. But I could call the hotel manager and see if they would do something for us for the inconvenience. Well I called and manager wasn't there. While on our stay manager wasn't there and no employee offered to try to contact them. Hoping someone could do something! We don't want a credit because we do not know when we will get a chance to go back. Partial reimburse would be a good start, full refund would be incentive to go back...

This is our 2nd time staying. Came one year during the Water Festival. Decided to come back for our 2 yr Wedding New Year's Eve Anniversary. So not happy. The price we paid for a room for 4 nights should have been cut in half due to problems with out room. Heat/AC unit has failing fan motor and temp know missing Holes in walls behind doors and backs of doors have something like coffee all over them. Some of the electrical sockets don't work causing one of the lamps not to work. Coffee maker did not work front desk could not swap until housekeeping came in around 11 am guess they front desk didn't have access? Satellite cable has poor signal causing choppy signal. Breakfast is Continental style dry products; muffins, toast, waffles, bagels, cereal with coffee, juices - not what was expected - go to McDonald's or Hardees. Soda machine broken - apparently for quite some time from the look of it. Sheets had burn holes in them - would expect a conscientious hotel would not put such on the beds.

I can say the bed, bathroom and floor were clean. I am so hoping they will make some effort to compensate for the sub-standard accommodations -...

My family and I stayed st this hotel from June 12-14. This is a disgusting hotel. The customer service was awful. The managers name is Hina Patel and she has the worst customer service ever! Upon checking into my room I inspected the beds. The sheets were nasty with black and yellow stains all over them and the pillow case had a black bug in it. I called to the front desk just to be told that all housekeeping staff had left for the day. I was there for a military graduation and the town was completely booked. We had no where else to go. They gave me what they called “ new sheets and pillow cases and I had to make the bed myself after paying in advance for the room. When I told Hina Patel about the issue her exact words were “ma’am you didn’t have to stay here”. I took photos of the nasty sheets but the review will not allow me to post a picture. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.... FIND ANOTHER ONE FAST! I had to give it a star in order to post this review but they get no stars from me.
