First of all, I was immediately greeted and the lady offered to help me. At the time, I was concerned about a hurricane's arrival. I have a basement door which is close to the river. I also needed hurricane lamp oil. Lamp oil-she went right to their selections and I made my choice. Then, the matter of sand bags to keep a possible high tide out of my basement. We discussed sand bags. (I'm old, so that would be difficult for me.) She showed me a product called "Quick Dam". It expands and can be placed inside or outside. It also comes in different sizes as needed. Perfect! Thankfully, the hurricane veered away from us! I will be prepared if another storm threatens our area. Thanks to Ace and a smart lady! I appreciate the help! I am never disappointed in an Ace Hardware store....

I stopped in for some roofing supplies and was helped by a gentleman immediately. Not only was he very polite , he was knowledgeable about what was in stock and what wasn't. He also showed me what they had available available.Even thou know he knew what I was looking for wasn't there. To further help me.He pointed me to the nearest local hardware store that carried the supplies.I was looking for and instead of driving 30 minutes to a big box store.He sent me five minutes down the road. There was a woman there that was working the cash register that was extremely friendly and very helpful and made a very nice connection with us. We always appreciate kindness.
