We come to town often and always dine here normally. We will not be returning after today. First, the food was amazing and our first waitress was very nice and attentive. She left I’m guessing while we’re dining and a male server took over. When we got ready to leave he brought a. Heck over that wasn’t our check for a very large bill. Once we got his attention we told him it wasn’t our bill. I noticed on our bill the prices were more than what was on the menu. One item was $10 on the menu u but showed $12.99 on the receipt. After asking and them saying they charge more for credit card items, I asked for a cash receipt showing my tax owed since we’re paying cash. Not a single server could explain nor produce a receipt explaining my cash prices and tax amount. The owner was called named Isabelle, which wa slated in a guys phone. After talking with her and explaining what the receipt reflects and what I needed to be shown ee found out that once it’s cashed out it will print an actually cash receipt. I told her I appreciate that and it’s good for the next time someone questions why things are different. Problem solved I thought!!! After getting off the phone with the owner some guy started getting cash back, I told him that was the servers tips. He yelled NO, threw the money across the counter and started to curse at me while quickly walking to the back. After asking for the owner to be contacted again because of this the front two servers tried to act like they might not have her number until I refused to leave until she was contacted. To come to town and be verbally abused by your staff is distasteful to the fullest. I have a huge family and they done normally but after this I’m turning everyone away. Having to worry about your safety for asking a question. Is a scary thought and thankfully it was on myself, and 2 daughters. I don’t believe we would’ve been treated the same way of a man would’ve been there!!!! Disgrace of...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Rancho Grande today for lunch. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who seated us right away with menus and silverware. She said our waitress would be right with us. Our waitress did come quickly, she greeted us with a lovely smile. We ordered 2 diet Cokes and the street corn appetizer. The street corn was really good. Enough for two to split or get one each it so good you might not want to share, it's served with cucumber slices, radish slices and a pickled spicy food item that we were unfamiliar with. ( I forgot to ask what it was) I also forgot to take a photo of the dish. It was all presented very nicely (very colorful too) Our lunch, I had the Pollo Vallarta and my husband had the Seafood chimichanga. My dish was nice and hot. The plated food was very pleasing to the eye. The taste was excellent! Everything about the chicken, shrimp and pineapple was beautifully blended. The salad mix and rice were also very tasty. The portion was a good amount. My husband's Seafood Chimichanga was very well prepared and presented. Nice large portion and the fillings were very tasty. Served with yellow rice and refried beans. Our waitress was very good with being attentive to our drinks with quick refills. She also asked several times if we needed anything else. Overall this is a great place for lunch or dinner. We will...
Read moreAbsolutely outstanding! The best of the best authentic Mexican in the entire low country! Tried so many restaurants and was a regular at Agave until it changed, the food quality went down along with the service. Many people encouraged us to try out Rancho Grande and we finally did! Can’t believe we waited this long, but we are so excited to come back again and enjoy this amazing authentic food. The food wasn’t just amazing, the restaurant, the staff and the drinks were made with top shelf and quality products. Our server Victor was outstanding and Impeccable customer service skills! You definitely set the bar high and the standard. In the world where customer service is lacking Rancho grande hits it out of the park bravo to the chefs and the back their cooking up a storm. There’s much to be proud of with this restaurant whoever owns it is running it with pride. A true testimony to the beauty of...
