Been here a year and this place was my go to in the beginning. The experience today was quite embarrassing to brag about & being friends visiting from out of town there. Server upon greeting wasn’t friendly and guest immediately felt like he did not want to serve us. We had to ask for waters & a drink menu. Ordered food and drinks. Server stated Chambored was the only ingredient missing from the drink I ordered. No problem, I understood and asked for it still. Disgusting but I didn’t complain. Asked my guest to taste as it didn’t taste good. They agreed it was off but I still drank it instead of complaining. Also asked for no salt but still received. Food came, my appetizer did not. Food was bad, burned, not edible. Server told husband he cannot make over correctly. Manager was asked for and came and did make it over for my husband. Asked the server for a different drink (same alcohol Patron) and that drink was horrible. At this point, I asked the waiter what did he put into my drink as it was off again and salt again though I asked again for no salt. He admitted he put 1800 in both drinks instead of Patron as listed on the menu and what I drink and are paying for. At this point, I’m about to cry bc I don’t drink 1800 as it gives me migraine headaches. Asked for the manager again. He listened attentively but seem very upset and almost dismissive. Not sure if it was bc I FINALLY complained or frustrated with the waiter. Either way, it was quite upsetting and baffling that the server was extra smiley and nice to the table next to us of white people but absolutely the worse with us (black). We spend good and tip even better but today, the experience was unlike no other and a waste of time & money. I could’ve taken my friends elsewhere but came expecting great service and food. Horrible. Read moreAwful, awful, awful. We came in for lunch thinking it was going to be somewhat good and relatively quick since we have been before but we were wrong. First off I spent 2 decades operating restaurants so I usually don’t post reviews as reviews are objective and experiences vary from person to person but after this experience I feel I had to do a review.
1/2 full restaurant with half of those seated already eating and our order took 30 minutes to arrive. The order was a taco salad, 2 tacos and enchiladas. From years of operating and owning restaurants there is not one component that had to be made to order. All that was required was assembling the dishes. Max plate time to the pass at best 10 minutes.
The food was cold.
My wife’s toco salad had a live fly in the guacamole. At this point I was very upset. We had to wait for the waiter to show himself again (about 10 minutes) to tell him we didn’t want the salad anymore and to take it off the check.the best part was he walked away before we could tell him we didn’t want another one and just remove it from the check.
This is the best part the same taco salad we sent back was them brought back out to another table to be served literally 2 minutes after we sent it back. I know this because the taco shell bowl that was served to us was broken in half and the same taco salad bowl was presented to the table next to us (I’m hoping minus the fly)
The mole sauce was essentially brown water. Mole sauce prepared properly is thick and fragrant. This was by no way shape or form even close.
No apologies were give by the staff.
By no means did we have grandiose expectations, we just wanted a decent lunch with good food and we did not achieve it here.
People can blame Covid but this is not a Covid issue, it is a lack of caring issue.

Read moreI went here last night New Year’s Eve along with my husband we were greeted by a waitress in all black . She seated us in a booth that smelled horrible as though a very dirty rag was used . The smell was so over bearing .
She then bought us our drinks and disappeared for about 15 minutes. The reason for this is because she was sitting down at a table on her phone .. yes on her phone while customers are waiting, the other 2 waitresses were on top of there tables and customers needs , one of the other waitress actually helped our table a bit, this individual was so much On her phone that our order was just sitting around that one of the other waitresses told her that our food is sitting there and was ready .
She was rude , unattentive , and just plain airhead . She didn’t even introduce herself we didn’t even know her name , we didn’t even get straws napkins or even how are things everytime she disappeared she was sitting at a table on her phone , it seems as though management allows her to do whatever she wants because it seems as though it’s her normal routine there. I have traveled and live in many places including overseas and I’ve gotten way better service, and I drove all the way from Hilton Head to experience this restaurant but boy was it not worth it , I have no issues driving for a good restaurant i did it many times to Savannah and I also did it when I lived in NYC but this waitress was horrible and the food was ok .
We will not be returning and honestly we really wished we had one of the other waitresses things may have gone way better I honestly...
