Here are my thoughts: 1)Yasmin in the breakfast area is the best. she made us feel welcome and has a true servants heart. We watched her greet each guest personally and made sure she was available to help in any way. Give her a pay raise!! 2) If you have a hwy facing room, be prepared to listen to traffic all night long. Also the "view" from room 320 is that of an area occupied by homeless people. Trash everywhere, graffiti, make the areas appear sketchy. Nobody wants to look out their window at trash. (there is also a homeless black kitty that needs help) 3) Shower is awesome. the shower head is really high and I am only 5'3", so normally these would be terrible for a short person, but the force of water was amazing. I could stay in there all night 4) The carpeting throughout is old, worn, and dirty in places. It def needs a good cleaning and/or replaced. 5) The hot tub had a layer of dirt/ sand at the bottom which I didn't see at first because of the bubbles, but felt as soon as my foot hit the bottom. this is not only gross, but an slip accident waiting to happen. Needless to say, it was a short in and out as nobody wants to relax in a dirty jacuzzi. 🤢 6) The staff was super friendly 7) Our room (320) was spacious and clean, although starting to show some wear and tear. 8) the free breakfast was great. Typical of Hilton. Lots of choices. Yasmine kept the area clean and fully stocked. 9) The lotion they provide is awesome!! 🄰 It might be a bit pricey for the location, This was our first trip to LA, and the pics online definitely made it look higher quality that what we saw, given all the trash and graffiti out our window. Would I stay here again? Probably..but would def NOT want a highway facing room. UPDATE: LAST NIGHT AT 1 AM, a group of teen thugs were running wild on the 3rd floor....screaming, cussing, yelling, banging on doors. I went to call the front desk only to discover the room phone didn't work. When we were finally able to reach the front desk, we asked that they send somebody to calm the madness...it never happened. needless to say, for 2 solid hours, we had to listen and endure screaming, fould language, yelling, running up and down the hallways. We paid a lot of $$ for a night of no sleep.

We have only stayed at Hilton Hotels for years and are honors members. We have never experienced this! We are traveling with our 3 year old grandson. I noticed as we walked into the hotel how dirty the carpets were especially in the front of the guest rooms. I thought they are probably short staffed...because of the pandemic. As we approach our room there was dirty visibly soiled bedding by the door on the floor. When we entered the room it smelled! There were snacks leftover from the previous guest in and on top of the refrigerator. We observed multiple housekeeping staff moving through the hallway however no one removed the soiled sheets. All of the sudden I became very concerned about our risk to contracting COVID for Gods sake there is a pandemic and the room had not been cleaned properly. I walked back to the desk and calmly explained what occurred and the polite young man immediately changed our room. The new room smelled better however the television had not been wiped the tissue holder was very dusty, there was trash behind the trash can and pistachio shells in the sofa bed where our grandson would be sleeping. The kitchen was full of grime and scum. There was trash in the dresser from the previous guest. The vents were filthy! There was hair and trash behind the couch. There were not enough wash clothes in our room and we were told ā€œwere outā€ I am without words and feel extremely uncomfortable! This is a bad experience and we don’t believe we can stay for our planned stay. We have purchased disinfectant to try and resolve our concerns. I wished we were home 😤. Pictures do not give clear severity of the conditions. I took multiple videos that I wish I could share that are disgusting!

Let me first reflect I am a season traveler, many years a Hilton Faithful and Diamond. While I have learned to roll with the punches of every week travel. I could not have believed so many negative things happened. I will spare the review of my emotional responses and just cover the FACTS. I had reservations for several weeks in advance and even called the day before my travel to advise hotel staff of my known late arrive to ensure that indeed they had my room reserved and my CC was properly in place to maintain the reservation. I even received a TXT from hotel the day of my travel asking of my arrival and confirming 2:00 AM arrival based on flights. ||||I arrived at approximately 2:00 AM to be greeted by a less than enthusiastic night desk person, informed me that the type of room i had reserved was no longer available. Well I assumed that i would be placed in a better room. Wrong. I was given another room and upon entry, hit by the heat dissipated from the room. Thermostat reflected 85 degrees. I checked the AC and it did not respond. I called immediately and i was told no other rooms available. I asked how was i to sleep in a room at that temp, No Response. Well eventually the person said , sorry. I must say this was beyond unacceptable and when i called back to ask for a fan to help. No fan available. I asked what are my options. The person said you can cancel and get a full refund. You can stay and change rooms tomorrow morning. Yep... that really works at 3:00 AM local time. With my first appointment at 8:30 AM. Then i was told, i will call you back. 10 or 15 min, cooking in the room. A call arrived and told me that there is another room and "I" just cancelled someone else reservation and was headed up to my room to bring a key. A few minutes later, this person escorted me to another room, a much smaller room, but the AC worked. I was only brought 1 key, which I always request 2 keys and a good practice for any traveler, based on how easy a card key can be corrupted. ||||We i got 2 hours sleep and headed to work site. Just got worse. Got back and my room was NOT cleaned. I called front desk, very nice person, said all cleaning staff gone for the day but would see what could be done. a few minutes later, i got a knock on the door and fresh linens and towels in a bag were dropped off. Noticed i said dropped off. I called back down, and the kind person said, all would be done that could be done, well after 1 hour of wait, and based on how tired i was, i changed my own linens, and made my own bed and removed the dirty towels, for the clean and placed back in the deluxe plastic bag. The next morning i dropped at the front desk. The person at the front desk asked me what was happening. "with several people waiting in line" I simply said well after i changed my linens, changed my towels, carried out my garbage, i thought i should drop this off" i walked out. you could hear the gasp. ||||well if you think that was the end of the nightmare, wrong! two nights later, same drill on my room not being cleaned. I called once again, and they apologized and i asked what is happening. they said that my room request "only cleaning every other day." I asked when did i tell your staff that. the person said at check in. Needless to say that was not true.||||well I know that it is not the fault of any induvial, so on 3X times i asked to speak with the manager. 1st response at front desk. No manager here and not sure when one will be here. I asked for a call to my cell. I did the same the 3rd and 4th day and never once got the professional consideration of a managers call. Well last day, i said in front others at front desk, cancel that 3 day old request to speak to a manager, "evidently i am not important enough for a simple call" Walked out. ||||I was told by one kind person, that this was indeed not right and would credit my Hilton honors account with some points. as of the writing of this review, nothing yet.||I have been traveling on business for over 40 years., this tops the list of worst experiences. Oh yea. the property was clean, and breakfast great.||||Couches in the two rooms i had, looked like they needed to be...

i spent almost 30 days at the Homewood Suites and was comfortable with my accomodations the entire stay. Even though the covid was on the rise during my stay the hotel made everything feel calm and normal. All the guests were respectful of their distance from one another going so far as to offer to eachother solo use of the elevators as a precautionary courtesy to each other. The complimentary breakfasts weren't canceled however it was no longer a self serve set up. The staff responsible for preparing our plates were very friendly and I always felt welcome when I would partake in the breakfast. My favorite part was the fresh fruit that was available everyday as well as the delicious waffles made fresh for each and every guest. The strawberries and whip cream were refreshing and I alternated between choosing that or butter and syrup but it was always a difficult choice lol! They had different main courses for breakfast and each one was tasty and the quality of the food as well as the preparation was very apparent visually as well as taste. There was also a nice small but quality selection cold juice, cold milk, and the hot coffee was delicious. Plenty of flavored creamer or half n half. Also available were hot cocoa packets and I would take one here and there and enjoy it in the evening when I went outside for a cigarette. The hotel is non smoking and there are clearly defined smoking areas. The inside and outside of the hotel are clean and neat. I was pleasantly surprised that I was allowed to keep my bicycle in my room and if you dont have transportation it's a bit of a walk to the train (green line) as the Homewood Suites is the last hotel in a group of 3 so being able to ride out of the parking lot rather than walk was a nice little break for my feat. My room was so comfortable and had everything one would need for a stay longer then a few days. The dishes were clean the refrigerator didnt have any foul orders and appeared to be perfectly clean. There wasnt anything that made me feel as If i couldnt bring food in prepare and atore it safely. The bathroom was clean and the sinks and mirror area were well lit. On the weekends there were some guests that were obviously celebrating special occasions which could be heard occasionally but nothing that was uncomfortable and completely within the normal expectations of being separated by a wall or ceiling or floor. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone and the only thing I could have asked for was a view of the ocean but it wasn't on the beach just near it. The new out my window was a view of the wash and a highway and while it wasn't the beach it was fine and I liked that the curtains were easy to open and when shut they kept most light out. My first night I slept so well and was shocked to discover it was already a little past noon when I woke up. (I was really tired so I needed it) Also every encounter with staff was pleasant and courteous and I never witnessed any unhappy customers during my stay. One last thing I would encourage everyone to tip the people serving the breakfasts. They really do deserve it as providing food for business people who are rushed and sometimes tired irritable travelers takes the patients of saints! Hope everyone's experience was as good as...

I am completely Horrified . I am going to rate this hotel a 0, now I am pretty sure some would love to know why !

Let’s start with customer service I checked into the hotel 10/22/23. I am a Hilton member but the front desk representative was a little bit rude . Although he was nice enough to not charge me for 2 days of parking he was really nice for that. But as a hilton member where are the free water bottles ?

The hotel Looked Nice on the outside . But once you make your way to the Rooms and once you get off the elevator. The carpet looks nasty the ceilings looks like someone was breaking them apart . The room is actually nice but the beds are nasty, the first night I had to take Benadryl to sleep . That’s how bad it was. The workers look like crackheads . But the two girls in the front were super sweet

Unfortunately I had to check out Wednesday instead of Thursday. The hotel is so creepy in the inside you might feel like someone is watching you ! 10/25/2023 . I left work to head back to the hotel and when I reached my room , the room door was opened , someone rampaged through my things but didn’t take anything, I went straight downstairs and let them know . I immediately felt unsafe , they tired to say it wasā€HOUSEKEEPING ā€œ but they never cleaned the room . Everything was messed up ! I asked for my money back in full . The hotel decided to send me to one of their other Hilton’s . I don’t understand how they expect someone to be okay after that incident just took place , and instead of treating this situation serious I felt like they dismissed it . Don’t waste your hardworking money

On 10/27 I spoke with the hotel manager about my Apple laptop being stolen . She explained to me that she was getting engineering to send over reports of when my room door was accessed . She ended up reaching to me that same day and explained to me that nobody accessed my room door . And the only times she had notice was at 1030am when my husband left to bring me lunch to work and he never came back to the room until he and I both showed up around 8:16pm . And she mentioned the only other time was 847 . I explained to her that how she was would have my room not have access and the door is completely opened almost as if someone didn’t want my room door to close . The lock knob was sticking outwards like holding my room door from being closed all the way . I felt as if she was calling me a liar mind you I have a video of my room door open before I entered I made sure I recorded it .

It’s not 10/31 and I have yet to get a response back from the hotel about my...
