I’ve eaten several times at El Tarasco in Huntington Beach and the food and service was excellent. Today I tried to eat at a closer location to home. The girl at the counter was very rude. When I asked her questions about the menu I felt like she was perturbed. I ordered a taco salad with ground beef. The girl said it didn’t come with guacamole so she charged me and extra $3 for guacamole. It was to go so she used a paper bag and by the time I got home the bag had torn and salda had spilled out and onto my car seats. I salvaged what I could and tried cleaning my car out. When I opened my taco salad, I saw that they’d given me a burnt taco salad shell. It tasted burnt and there was in fact guacamole on the salad. The ground beef had a refrigerator taste to it which ruined everything. I don’t recommend this particular el tarasco, but the one in Huntington Beach is excellent.

Read moreThe food was horrible if you gave them more than 2 stars your related or sleeping with them. Tuesday I ordered 3 tacos they gave me 3 greasy tortillas with 3 1/2inch chunks of meat on in each taco. On Thursday I went again I ordered a green chili burrito, they gave me a soaking burrito wrapped in the thinnest aluminum foil they could get at the 99 cent store I had it to go when I got to where I was going to eat the shell was disintegrating along with the aluminum foil and the paper bag. The burrito itself was the size of an 8oz bottle of water, they have me 10 tostadas and less then an ounce of salsa and to make the bag look full they stuffed it with napkins. The lady taking the order also assumed that she could keep my 26 cents in change just because she didn't have loose change to give me my change. Again if you gave them more than 2 stars your family members or...
Read moreWe ordered food for pick up off the online menu... The menu has a set of prices listed online...We went to the restaurant to pick up the order and the prices were close to double the prices that were listed online.. The seven dollar chili Reno cheese enchilada with beans # 19 went from $7.00 to $12.50 And the cheese enchilada with one taco and beans #15 went from $7.00 to $10.99.. What they are doing is called bait and switch.. apparently they say they’re in the process of updating their website but that does not excuse the fact that they are advertising a price online that people are basing their orders on and then changing the prices when you go to the restaurant to pick up the food... I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint because what they are doing...
