I came here specifically to try the lunch special and ordered two, clearly asking for two different flavors. Instead, both were served as the original. When I questioned it, the staff simply said the special only applies to the original and pointed to the ad. That may be true, but it’s unacceptable that this wasn’t mentioned when I placed my order. A simple clarification would have prevented the issue, but instead it felt misleading and dismissive. If a promotion has restrictions, customers should be told upfront rather than being left disappointed after the food arrives. Not everyone reads every detail on an advertisement, and what if a customer doesn’t know how to read? Good service means making sure everyone understands what they are ordering, not hiding behind fine print. This lack of transparency and poor communication reflects very poorly on the restaurant. Be aware before ordering—the “special” is not what it appears to be. I would not recommend this place, and suggest spending your money elsewhere. EDIT: The AD does not state anywhere that it is only for the ORIGINAL. Only stated “NO SUBSTITUTIONS,” which is vague. This would have been a perfect time for them to communicate what couldn’t be substituted.

So I’m giving this place a 4 based on the palates of my girls. I’m allergic to certain chicken and couldn’t eat it here. But my girls said it was REALLY good. Based on the amount of people there on a Thursday night, they must have been right. I got the salmon plate and the salmon had VERY little flavor. The rice and salad were the best thing I had. I paid $4 extra did hummus and it was bland as well. They also don’t have a kids menu, so my girls had to share a plate. (One of my girls is off the kids menu and the other still needs one.) My girls said they’d want to go back, so I’ll try falafel next time.

First, the staff here are always so nice. Kudos to them for always doing a good job. Now the food….it always hits the spot. My favorite is the kabob plate. I like to order chicken, spicy chicken, or steak with a side of rice and steamed veggies. The hummus be it regular or spicy is delicious as well. When dining in, you get fresh pita with your meal. Chicken Maison is always a favorite when I’m in town.

Chicken Maisón. As a prior chef by trade, I have been hard pressed to find a solid daily dining restaurant in the South Bay Area. The kind of place where you can get fresh, simply prepared and delicious food for lunch and dinner. Chicken Maison is the place if you like fresh and delicious Mediterranean cuisine.

Pros: • Fresh and flavorful fare that is prepared simply and done right • Restaurant is designed for either take-out or dine in • Friendly staff • Fast for food that is made à la minute • The portions are generous. You will not go hungry • Affordable • Flavor. The food is absolutely delicious. The grill team cook the meats PERFECTLY. Grilled vegetables? They got you covered. Hummus- it's the best hummus among us. Gyro, chicken, lamb.... and the pilaf! The salads are awesome. I could go on... but I have stuff to do.

Chicken Maison cons: 0

You'll find yourself going to this place on a regular basis because they haven't overlooked the details. This place knows how to cook and to get it right all...

PUBLIC BE AWARE - HEALTH HAZARD! I have never eaten here and now my curiousity is gone as well! I watched through Windows from outside handicap spot by99 cent store 2 police officers even went inside ordered food unsuspecting just now left. This may gross you out but from my parking spot I can see direct line of view to the restroom hallway. A male employee came out of restroom and across hall into food area. He was still sending his belt into the clasp. Idk about you but when I am done with THAT PARTICULAR business I do pants belt tick etc etc before I go to wash station. Who washed hands when pants are barely pulled up and buckled? Why they would fall down before you grab soap! It's clear what did not happen at this place but please be warned that food handlers are not watched enough to make sure that hand washing occurs and my stomach is turning as I just barely got over this stomach flu. (Spouse inside 99 getting crackers and ginger ale for unknown...
