If I could leave zero stars, I would.|| I made a reservation to stay at this property for November 10-17, 2023. I called ahead to see if an early check in was possible, I was told I could come by 2PM as they wanted to make sure everything was in|order with my room before I arrive. I arrived after 2PM but before 3PM. When I arrived, I saw two people at the Front Desk, two men. I informed them that I was there to check in and one of them asked if it was me who he spoke with earlier about the early check|in, I said yes. They then took my ID and shortly after presented me with a key card and instructed me to go and check the room out. I thought this was quite strange as I have never been given such an instruction at a hotel before. I mentioned to the man that|I thought it was strange and asked if he was expecting it to not be okay, he answered by saying he didn't know and that he had just arrived. I took the key and I made my way upstairs. I should mention that I am 9 months pregnant. Nevermind the smell of weed/marijuana|in the hallway, the first thing I noticed when I went into the room was the MUSTINESS which suggested to me that either the room had been locked up for some time or not properly/recently cleaned. The room also looked nothing like the upgraded, recently renovated|rooms as advertised on their website. The triple checked clean status is questionable. In addition, there was a drawer of sorts that was in a random position in the room with the bottom drawer out of position and on top of the drawer itself. This drawer had|screws and some other things. It became clear to me that this room was definitely not ready for arrival. It looked NOTHING like what was advertised online, things looked and smelled old and not at all renovated. I decided to make my way downstairs as I believed|there must have been a mixup and I wanted to see about getting a different room. I relayed this to my friend who was downstairs with the rest of my bags and she informed the agents at the Front Desk. On my way down, I saw one of the guys from the Front Desk|who told me that he was going to speak with Housekeeping to see what went wrong and that things would be sorted for me. I saw in the lobby and waited for him to return. During this time, the other employee did not address me. I was appalled at the quality|of service - lack thereof and the state of the room and I said so. I kept looking back at the photos online in disbelief. After quite some time waiting, he came back and I asked for an update, he asked me to hold on which I did. It started to turn into a long|wait so again I asked what was being done and if he could just let me know what's going on, he essentially handed me my ID and told me that they had nothing else available. I asked him to issue a refund as I could not stay in those conditions in my state and|would now have to find alternate accommodation. I went to sit down again pending an update on that. Still a lot more time passed and no acknowledgement or update so I went again to ask. He asked what did I say was wrong with the room, they can fix it/clean|but that it would take some time. I asked him, can you fix the fact that this is misrepresentation, the mustiness, the fact that this isn't anything close to what they are advertising ... At this point, the other guy looked up and said to me, there is nothing|to refund as I tried to charge your card and it declined twice. He said this quite loudly in an obvious attempt to embarrass me. I said if that is the case, why take so long to advise and let me be on my way? I asked him to ensure that this was the case ... he was VERY rude and insisted that he was sure. The very next day, a charge of USD $71.67 from InTown Suites WPB reflected on my account. Obviously there's money in my account. For the extremely poor experience, state of the room and the fact that I did not stay out of concern for my health and that of my unborn child, I submitted a request for refund via their website. To date, i have not received any sort of response. I called as someone advised me that it was best to call and speak with their GM, the agent at the Front Desk told me that he is not available and refused to tell me the GMs name. This place is the absolute worst,...

Read morePros: This hotel is conveniently located not far from 1-95. It is on a fairly busy street with good access to Walmart, gas, banks and fast food restaurants. The rooms are advertised as recently renovated and it looks like it was renovated within the last year or two. It is functional, basic and clean. There is a nice flat screen TV, microwave, 2 burner stove and fridge. There is a laundry room on the first floor. It costs $2.00 to wash and $2.00 to dry. Floors are half laminated wood and half carpet. They should remove all carpet. Maids service is once a week. The price is the most affordable place I found for the area. The bus stops right in front of the building. The cleaning staff, office and maintenance people are professional and friendly, when issues were reported they promptly and firmly addressed them.||||Cons: The hallway carpet and entry are dirty and a little smelly. The carpet in my room is stained. I woke up yesterday to several small roaches crawling in the room and there is one that keeps peeking out from behind the kitchen counter. In a hotel of this size and age that is not a huge surprise. I read that roaches are nocturnal so I sleep with all the lights on so they will stay away until I lmove to another hotel down the street. So far the lights have kept them out of sight.||||The biggest issue I have is the clientele that this hotel caters to. The tattooed couple next door to me had a fight today and the banging, crying and yelling of the woman was frightening. Yesterday 2 police cars were in the parking lot talking to someone. I didn't see anything happening but It made me nervous. At night I often hear loud voices, not fighting but inappropriately loud for the time of night. There are children who live in this hotel. It's good that they have a place to live but sad too considering the clientele who live in the building with them. I believe this place caters to people who use it as transitional housing. ||||Because of the creepy people here I am moving to another hotel when the week is over. I am a single woman and I feel just a little vulnerable here. Having said all of this I would not say don't come here at all. Be brave and use common sense if you come here. You will be Ok. It is not a 5 star hotel but they don't charge 5 star prices either. To save a few dollars I can occasionally tolerate a few creepy people and an occasional roach if I have to. But I don't have to so I am moving...
