My flight arrived early so I showed up before noon to an absolutely empty parking lot with no transportation as I had a half hour Uber ride. The front desk person wouldn't let me check in (essentially just ditch all my crap and change clothes) because it was "too early" even though rooms were clearly ready.... unless I wanted to pay a fee. I did not... so I asked if I could check my suitcase (duffle bag). He didn't have a place to put it and encouraged me to just leave it in the lobby. I refused and asked if he could at least place it behind the desk. So, he did. And I left and walked around on foot for two hours with my backpack on my back until check in at 2 PM. ||||I returned and got to my room. The desk chair (and I have pictures) was an absolute disgrace. Nasty, looked like a dirty athlete sat on the chair and peed all over it. It was gross. I asked a housekeeper to bring me another chair and was told "it's clean, I wiped it, just stain... sit on towel." I said, no, I want another chair and they brought me one with a broken arm. I still used a towel after I wiped it down with a washcloth and the washcloth was brown. ||||The fitness room was literally a guest room with a few things in it. Not a real fitness room. I asked about where I could go to run as I run a few miles daily. The desk worker could not help me at all. He said I could go to some church and proceeded to have no idea how to get there. I figured it out on my own after crossing the highway and meandering through the streets on my own, but no help at all from people whose job is to serve the guests. ||||My king sized bed had three little square pillows (I also have pics of that). Not king sized pillows. Not even NORMAL size standard pillows. I'm still confused about that.||||The door didn't close very well. You had to absolutely force it, which meant it was incredibly loud.. and I had to slam it shut or someone could just walk in on me. ||||Breakfast was continental and fine. Nothing special. The coffee cup "protector" sleeve didn't fit on the cup. If you pressed it down, the sleeve broke. So, that wasn't the best. ||||There was no conditioner. Went to wash my hair and the two "things" on the wall in the bath were shampoo and body wash. No little bottles of anything in the room. The body wash was completely empty. No bar of soap provided. I had to go ask for conditioner and the desk person acted like I was a speaking a foreign language... "we don't have conditioner I don't think"...
Read moreThe lobby and other public areas could really use some renovating and housekeeping doesn't seem to care to vacuum the carpets in the hallways or staircases. The public spaces were extremely off-putting and I was worried I'd made a huge mistake booking a room here and that my room would be just as gross.
I was a bit shocked to see that my room had actually had a lot of updates done. It was not disgusting, it was actually pleasant inside. All of the furniture was original except the mattress and desk chair were new enough to be called "new." The floors had been redone with laminate and all of the bathroom surfaces have been redone. There are even bedside outlets and USB ports. The mattress was on the firm side and the bedding and pillows were fine. My rating of the blackout curtains is 8/10.
The air freshener in the rooms is too much. If you're sensitive to smells, skip this hotel. Running the bathroom fan and the A/C before going to bed cleared the smell out enough for it to not bother me for the night.
I didn't make it to breakfast except I wanted to grab some fruit before it closed (I went at 9:30 and it closed at 10am). There was one apple, which I took, but I wanted another for my husband. I went back at 9:50 and no more fruit had been put out. I didn't see anyone to ask either time and I didn't want to bother the front desk. As someone who works in food service, I just feel like the hand fruit is something that should be fully stocked until closing time because it can be put back out the next day.
No mini fridge in the standard rooms. They only have fridges in the Efficiency rooms. Every time I stay in a hotel that doesn't have mini fridges in all the rooms I'm thoroughly confused.
Housekeeping is provided every-other day, which is fine by me. I don't actually need someone to make my bed for me and usually...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Ramadan Hotel, and I cannot stress enough how terrible it was. From the moment I arrived, the problems began to pile up, leaving me with a deeply negative impression of the establishment.
Room Conditions: The room I was assigned was in a deplorable state. It was filthy, with stains all over the walls and carpets. The smell of weed and cigarette smoke permeated the entire space, making it incredibly unpleasant to be in. To make matters worse, there was no microwave, refrigerator, towels, or even bottled water provided. It was clear that the hotel management had no regard for the basic comfort and hygiene of its guests.
Communication Issues: Before my arrival, I had booked my stay through Priceline. However, the hotel staff seemed completely unaware of my reservation. This led to a frustrating and lengthy check-in process, during which the front desk employee displayed a rude and unhelpful attitude. It was apparent that there was a severe lack of communication between the hotel and its booking partners.
Overall Atmosphere: The entire hotel had a run-down and neglected feel to it. The common areas were dirty and poorly maintained, and there was a general sense of decay throughout. It was not a place where anyone would want to spend their time, let alone their hard-earned money.
Conclusion: I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at the Ramadan Hotel to look elsewhere. The rooms are in terrible condition, the staff is rude and unhelpful, and the overall atmosphere is one of neglect and decay. There are plenty of other hotels in the area that offer far better value and a much more...
