Walgreens — Local services in Rockaway

Terrible pharmacy. Every month my perscriptions are delayed. I get an AI voice message saying that it will be filled when its ready but it never is. Every month I have to waste upwards of 30 minutes dealing with useless AI voice and waiting on hold, only to have to fight with a representative once they finally answer in order to get my prescriptions filled. I unfortunately had to switch to this pharmacy during my chemotherapy treatment due to insurance issues, and walgreens on 46 has made my treatment process far more stressful and difficult than it needed to be. I would give this Pharmacy zero stars if I could. The pharmacist was rude and dismissive and didn’t seem to have an understanding of her role as a pharmacist and not a doctor. She was extremely condescending and because the prescription I needed was in such short supply and unavailable in all of the surrounding pharmacies I contacted, she was apathetic and acted like she was annoyed and somehow she was doing me a favor. She eventually filled my prescriptions, but only after speaking with the doctor twice and making me return on three separate o occasions because she did not collect all the information she said she needed after speaking with him the first time. I had a photo order and when I came to the pharmacy drive through, they went over and got my photo order too.
