I was staying at a nearby hotel and water reading the many positive reviews of this place, I decided to go there for dinner. I was a little surprised to find out it was the lobby restaurant of the Hilton Garden Inn. When I walked in, there was nothing about it that would have made me think there was something special about it, and I almost turned around and left. But I was hungry and it was getting late, and this I've was still down and serving. I went to to the bar and was greeted by a very cheerful bartender. She informed me they had no Chardonnay, but they did have some Pinot Grigio, so I ordered a glass and looked over the menu. The menu wasn't a standard bill of fare, the were some interesting item on it, and I ordered the grilled chicken breasts with mixed vegetables and red skin mashed potatoes. I can't say without hesitation, it was one in the best simple chicken means I've ever had. The beast was grilled perfectly and the butter drizzle was very good. The sauteed veggies were not overcooked and also very tasty, and the red skin mashed potatoes, were excellent as well. If I ever find myself staying near DTW again, I will...

Roamed from hotel to hotel to find a decent meal and nearly every place was closed early, didn't have a menu like what the website showed, or they were out of business.

My only suggestion is to change the name of Korean BBQ mixed grains to something else. That side dish is a mix of quinoa, wild rice, and possibly barley. That's not a Korean BBQ item. We did some research while eating and it is more associated to the native American...
