I have never been treated so poorly. it was bad enough when we checked in and the front desk employee was locked out of their computer. why were they locked out? because they had entered their password wrong 5 times in a row. she went on to explain that this happens to her all the time. she cleans the keyboard and inadvertently hits the keys while cleaning. after being locked out, she has to call tech support and request that they unlock the computer, that took over 20min. thats 20min. standing at the front desk unable to check in. it wouldn't have been so bad if she hadn't thought it was so hilarious and laughed the whole time we waited. sadly that Interaction was the best of the front desk employees. the next morning is when it all went to hell. I went down to the lobby to get breakfast. when I got back to the room I realized I had the wrong key and couldn't access the room. my wife was sound asleep inside the room. I thought no big deal ill just go to the front desk and get a new key. wow was I wrong. the hotel is under construction and the front desk is in an awkward spot with plastic draped behind it. there was no one at the desk to help with the key I needed. after waiting a couple minutes I realized I could hear the employee on their phone somewhere behind the plastic sheet. I reached past the desk and pulled the plastic back and asked "hello can you hear me, your needed at the desk." i then let the plastic fall back in place and waited. a minute later a young lady burst through the plastic and in a breathless husky yell said way too loudly "what are you doing SIR you are not allowed behind the plastic curtain." if I could add a snarky tone i would. I then respond with "if you were at your desk it wouldn't be an issue" so I am getting frustrated as I type and im gonna just summarize the rest. she starts to yell and calls security. tells them im trying to get a key to a room im not a guest in. even though she hasn't even asked me my name. then says that people like me ruin a good time and im gonna pay for my bad attitude. seriously she really did, she then tells her supervisor who walked up that I cussed at her and was abusive. all lies, whe n her boss would look at me she would make a face at me behind her bosses back. she literally acted like a 5yr old child. it was unbelievable. I have never seen an employee be so abusive and tell so many lies. she was straight up crazy. I will never stay their again. I get to stay for free because I gamble at the casino and even free is too expensive for me to stay their again. thats right, free isn't worth it. avoid this hotel at ALL costs. Who knows what the crazy front desk people will do. run...
Read moreRoom #100 was adequate. Plenty of tv channels. Fridge did not get very cold. Beds were a big disappointment because about 6" on both sides angled down so much I was concerned about falling onto the floor in my sleep. Very disappointed with management. Pet friendly was a nice plus. Breakfast was very minimal but better than nothing. Booked our room#101 on 1/14/23 for a 3 night stay beginning 3/3/23. Our only special request was for an adjoining room with friends we were there to see. We were verbally assured our adjoining rooms were all set. Upon arrival we were told no adjoining rooms were available. The manager said the guest, currently in "our" reserved room, had decided that morning to extend their stay. The manager explained the company policy is never to request a guest to change rooms for any reason. When I told him I wanted to speak with his supervisor about the policy, he told me management would not care what I had to say, nothing would ever be changed and no other outcome was possible. We were given a small discount on 2 of our 3 nights. We were very excited about spending most of our time visiting with one friend that was moving to Tennessee the following week. Playing card games and enjoying our playful dog was top of our list. We don't anticipate ever getting together again so this was a very special event for us all. While I don't agree with this policy, it should have been made clear sometime in the many weeks before our arrival. We would have made very different arrangements. The final blow was being told management had no interest in hearing from us. Don't expect Creekside Hotel to stand behind any commitments they make. Take your chances if you must. Just be aware of very poor management because they are not concerned with...
Read moreDue to a mishap a while back oh, I was unable to give five stars however, the four-star is mostly due to Rose and Carli. Both of them are outstanding and I won't name which one I think stanza tiniest bit higher than the other but I can say this, if I opened the business I would definitely recruit them. Also there's a guy that works the front desk and I cannot remember the name of, super friendly and helpful and the girl that works in the morning with the continental breakfast with the tattoos, she also is awesome. The rooms are pretty standard rooms the AC works well enough the refrigerator is cool showers have decent water pressure the TVs come with HBO plenty of lighting. I'm a Platinum Elite card holder now that's for the last year-and-a-half I was a gold card and I don't know if that makes a difference I doubt it does but they've always ask me what room I would be interested in even though I was just one person staying there they are for me too bad sore King and I've always told them whatever works best for them if they have a paying customer then give them the room they want but they say because of my way at the casino that I also am a paying customer in a way so it's a reward for spending a thousand a week there LOL. I still appreciate it though whether the the player card makes a difference or not but I don't think it does oh, I think they make those kind of offers to anybody that calls to make a reservation. Overall I get high marks and Rose and Carli, stay...
