I want to first say, as someone that works in the food industry i was greatly disappointed with our experience at the sushi kiosk. I feel completely sorry for the staff that they don’t have any front of house staff to buffer their order, this is a huge pitfall for being able to let patrons know what wait times will be, if food items are out, low, or will take 40 minutes to prepare. We ordered 2 rolls and 1 chicken sandwich, and after checking in with the kitchen staff 30 minutes into waiting they told us the were still “cooking” the chicken for this sandwich. Based on what I could see there wasn’t even the proper equipment to even cook said chicken, and from what I could tell the poor staff were cooking a from raw chicken patty in a household airfryer, or something of the likes. The staff kept getting tickets while we watched them struggle to even make the food that’s on the menu with the equipment they have provided, definitely feels like an issue in the design of the kitchen to produce food on the menu and this is apparently a problem with the capabilities of the actual equipment and not the staff. After 40 minutes when we finally received our food it was of poor quality. The fish wasn’t fresh, the chicken patty was thin and dry. Also both rolls were missing any kind of sauce and were dry. It was a disappointment to say the least, and being that we didn’t have a waitress or a host we were left unattended to wonder what was going on. We had no line of communication to the kitchen with out having to interrupt them from actually making the food. Also with it being a kiosk your prompted to tip before even experiencing your service. I don’t believe this is an issue with the kitchen staff, they seemed to be doing their best even with all cards played against them. But as far as owners/kitchen designers/managers there is room to improve. If the chicken sandwich can only be made with an air fryer, take it off the menu…it’s won’t be missed. Over all based on my experience I would not bother with giving anywhere that only have an option to use a kiosk to...
Read moreI went to your Sushi Kiosk and ordered 3 California Rolls and 3 Temp Shrimp Rolls. After waiting 25 min we finally were able to pick up our order at 8:59pm. It was by far the absolute worst Sushi I've ever had in my life. I couldn't even ask for a refund because the single employee working the Booth was already gone. It cost $72 (before tip). I paid with a card and was not given a receipt except for the paper on top of the brown rice...
Read moreI and my husband love to go to the Steelhead lounge for sushi. We think it's the best we have ever eaten and recommend it to veryone. We think Linda the chef is very good at what she does and is pleasant to visit with while we wait for our order. I personally think that she should have a bigger area by extending her work area towards the south. I think if she had more room she could put...
