Welcoming entrance with friendly staff in lobby room. Amenities we used was Breakfast in the morning, and WiFi internet. my family loved the breakfast and WiFi had good to great signal quality. Speed was average to decent for the 2.4Ghz range that was provided. The room we got had very clean bathroom with clean towels in 3 towels each in 3 sizes plenty and if we wanted more there was no issue getting extra linens etc. The bed area has a Wall AC/Heater Unit and like most if not all hotels/motels i been to is just plain dirty and dusty. AC/Heater Unit looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long while. If you turn on the heat function it will smell like a burn probably the dust burning off for a few minutes. One can tell by the stuffiness of the room and shining a light in AC/Heater Unit for visual check. Our room the window can not be open or has no apparent way to open for fresh air. The only apparent way for fresh air is through bathroom vent when it runs, you can feel slight breeze blowing past the Main door seems/cracks coming from hallway. We moved the bed to one side of the wall for safety of the kids in case they fall and found old plastic pudding cups and other trash under the bed. Other things that we had issues were the mini fridge that felt like it wasn't cold or running and fussy microwave oven would take many presses to start running, and pillows have a funny strong odor.
My Final thought is : This is my first time in a $180 price room with taxes and fees total comes out to over $200, I mostly use the cheaper Inns under $100 and some even under $60. Do I feel like it was worth the price vs the cheaper Inns? The outside of the building looks nice, and lobby area is clean and modern and they have an elevator. Breakfast is a notch better than the cheaper Inns. All have friendly staff. if your looking for just a nights sleep and off you go in the morning a cheaper Inn will be a...
Read moreFirst, we have stayed at this location on and off for over 4 years. Never had much of a problem until this last weekend. I booked two rooms for two nights each online, late February early March, using points that we had acquired over the years. I requested 2 rooms next to each other, on the first floor, because of a 91 year-old woman who uses a wheelchair. I even called Thursday May 9th to confirm things and was assured by the desk person that everything was in order. Well, when we got there, only about half was correct. the rooms were on the first floor but not close together. Actually on opposite ends of the building which made a hassle. I voiced my opinion and frustration to the worker, but she said that was all she could do. I booked this room almost 3 months in advance! When we went to the first room, handicap accessible, the door was wide open and it looked like someone had sat on both beds. When we got to the second room, there was a used water bottle on the floor between the beds. Also, in this room the TV remote had buttons that didn't work. There was also a high school softball team staying at the hotel and the late night noise made it hard to sleep. There always seems to be some type of sports team staying at the hotel and the noise at times can be bothersome. Also, when we checked in, we weren't asked about reward points, or offered a bottle of water, etc. like we have been on other stays. All this happening on one weekend was a little too much and made the stay uncomfortable. Right now, I'm not happy and not sure if we will ever stay at this...
