Amazing stay. I will stay here again when I do this trip in the future. ||I believe this hotel was newly remodeled. Everything felt clean and newer. It's not the Four Seasons, but it's nice. We slept great. It was quiet, and the A/C worked very well. What more can you ask for? Sadly, we didn't get the chance to use the pool next to our room, but it looked inviting, clean, and clear. All the staff that we met were great. We checked in with Dustin around midnight and checked out with Paulette in the morning. Both were very accommodating to our circumstances with our car. Due to a tire issue, Dustin allowed us to put the car in front and gave us the room right in front of it. Since we had to have a repair done, we requested a late checkout and were granted a short extension by Paulette. ||This actually ended up being our favorite hotel on our cross-country road trip. We stayed in some nice hotels along the way, but this one was fun, clean, and memorable for my daughter and me. ||We didn't plan to stay in Russellville, but we were forced to find a hotel due to a late-night tire blowout on I-40. My daughter's hybrid doesn't carry a traditional spare due to the hybrid battery in the rear. Thankfully, there was a newly built Discount Tire that opened in April of '23. So, in the morning we had them replace the tire, check for damage, and get us right back on the road. We were disappointed that we didn't have a chance to use the pool. It looked amazing in that intense summer heat. ||Thank you, Quality Inn Russellville staff. You helped make an unfortunate event much...
Read moreLate night traveling, called the number to make a reservation and was told I reached the corporate reservation line and that was the only way to make a reservation. Ok. Verified they accepted pets and was told there would be a $10, per animal, per night charge. Ok, cool! Upon arriving to the hotel and making my way to the front desk.. I walk through the door and immediately am smacked in the face with the smell of cigarettes. Yuck! The lobby area is decent. Went to the front desk to check in and the lazy “I hate my life” lard behind the counter asked what I needed. Told him that I was here to check in. Upon checking in I noticed a sign that said pets were $15, I told him that I verified when making the reservation that the pet fee was $10. He told me that I misunderstood and asked who I talked to. I told him a random person taking reservations for the hotel. He says to me “well, our fee for pets has been $15 for a long time now”. $5.00 may not seem like much to some but, do this to hundreds of people over time and you’re making bank! I explained to him that I verified with the lady on the phone twice! He did not care in the slightest. Get to the room and it wreaks of cigarettes and pot. The tv volume is on max and I can’t hear a thing. The air is not working and there are stains all over the carpets. I wasn’t expecting the Taj Mahal but, come on!
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!! There are plenty of others near by, save your time and go...
Read moreI would certainly try other options in the same price range for a few reasons. 1. We had food that needed refrigerated and the refrigerator was broken. You could tell it wasn’t something that had just happened and hadn’t been discovered yet. It had been ignored. 2. The toilet is still the old short type with a lose seat that has spray texture/paint peeling off and a flush handle that must remain held down to flush and then it never would complete the job. 3. As soon as you walk in the room there was a damp musty smell like wet dog. I noticed the shower surround has a center grabbar missing leaving 2, 1/2” wholes. Wholes that will take on water every time someone takes a shower. Water will run down behind the tub surround wall and floor under tub. Great place for mold to grow. 4. I took a shower and laid the floor mat down when I picked it up it was dirty telling me the floor was dirty. I tested another area by the side of the bed nightstand, wiped the floor with a towel and yes, floor was very dirty again. 5. The bedsheets had stains of dried blood and other. It’s a dated hotel with decor modifications. Renovation is expensive and ROI considering price point, I get it. But even old appliances can be maintained and repaired to last and function correctly. And zero excuse when it comes to...
