Update 2/23 Against my better judgement I went here again for lunch. The hostess was not friendly, didn't greet us, dropped our silverware off at the table and walked off. When talking to the waitress, (who remembered me from 5 months earlier) she told me that the Prime Rib that I wanted was looking medium well and not to order, and same with the prime rib sandwich. I ordered the rib eye which she said there was a new cook and he's good. Ordered it Mid rare. Of course when my food comes the steak is medium well closer to well. She apologizes, sends it back. The cook brings out my next steak which is of course between medium and medium well, I just push it to the side. I will NEVER be coming back to this restaurant. It seems they can't get it together. Multiple tables were complaining about wait times.
Do not waste your time with this restaurant.
Update I visited here last weekend, party of 5. Our server was good, she was just busy and I had to hunt my own silverware down. Everyone's food came out and many items were not how we ordered. The baked potatoes were not loaded, my steak was over cooked and thin. I ordered medium rare and it came out med well. They made me a new steak, this one was the correct thickness you expect from a rib eye, but this time it was COLD!!!! They basically seared it and gave it to me. I'm pretty sure the cook did it to spite me. I flagged down a manager and told him my situation. He took the steak back there and while waiting AGAIN 3rd time for my food my party finished their food. He was gone for 10 minutes. When he came back my steak was cooked PERFECTLY and was delicious. But I had to scarf it down because everyone had finished eating 10 minutes earlier. I didn't get to enjoy it and left my potato. The manager had the gall to tell me that he comped my blooming onion. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the appetizer, it was my $27 steak that was the issue. This place has the name STEAKHOUSE in its name. They should be nailing steak temperatures.
I checked in online and only had to wait 17 minutes after I got there. There was an hour wait time. It was extremely busy, but the staff worked fast and was attentive. My apps and food came out in a timely manner and everyone was working as a team and smiling. Great place to visit and the food is...
Read moreMy husband and I are dine reward members. We are regular customers at this location. Historically our experiences have been five star level. The servers are always professionally courteous, friendly, and welcoming. When our expectations were not met, managers always follow through and correct any mishaps, ensuring we have a wonderful dining experience. Unfortunately we sat at the bar to have our meal on Saturday afternoon. This was our first time eating at the bar. The bartender who goes by the letter "G" was extremely unprofessional to us. He was rude, disrespectful, unattentive, irritated, annoyed and without using any words made us feel unwelcome at the bar. He was not a good listener and had a nasty attitude. He and my husband exchanged words. "G" immediately stated that my husband needed a manager, we agreed. Thankfully Rachel stepped in, relocated us to a table, apologized and offered to take our order. We had already gotten our drinks and our appetizer had been ordered. We ordered our filet and lobster dinners, but were in no mood to eat. We asked Rachel to cancel our filet and lobster dinners. We ate our appetizers and finished our drinks. Rachel was kind and said that she would comp our drinks and appetizer. Thank you for your professionalism, compassion, and de-escalation skills Rachel. Sadly we will not be back to this Outback, knowing how the bartender, "G", treated us. Please do not sit in the bar area if "G" is working. He is most definitely a liability to this establishment, and not an asset. He is the reason that we, regular dine rewards patrons, are no longer patronizing this Outback. I am very disappointed. It was our first visit of the new year. We will never forget it, and not for good reasons. The bartender, "G", single handedly took a historical 5 star dining experience down to a one star dining experience....
Read moreOutback is probably my favorite restaurant, but this experience was pretty poor tbh.
Our server definitely gave off the vibe that she was having a bad day. I get it. I've waited tables and some days suck, but she kept rolling her eyes and giving us attitude with a polite demeanor. Honestly, the food runner did more for us than she did. At one point, we joked about giving him our tip instead (we didn't, we always tip 20% no matter what.) I do wanna shout him out. He was friendly and helpful! We didn't get our bread until after our appetizers (and we had to ask for it). She kept trying to walk away before we finished ordering more than one drink refil or more than one appetizer. Our drink refils sometimes took 10 minutes and then she brought us out multiple drink refills at once. We also were going to order the flight of margaritas because we wanted to try them and she told us not to. "They're basically all syrup. If you want a margarita, get a margarita." I have to chalk it down to her having a bad day because the service was just abysmal. This might be on the system and not her, but I guess Outback has designated food runners now so whenever we needed a refill, she had to ring it up and have the food runner bring it out instead of getting it herself? I could understand if the restaurant was super busy, but it wasn't. It just seems like a poorly designed process.
Our food was mostly okay. Out of our 4 steaks, only one was cooked correctly. The other three were cooked one stage too long (medium rare was medium, medium was well done). They also forgot one of the sides.
I know this just sounds like a lot of complaining, but it was a lot. Each of these things normally would be a small mistake, but it was the sheer number of small mistakes that made an...
