Great Happiness Chinese Food — Restaurant in San Diego

Whenever I drove through the area, I noticed people going in and out. Hungry and on a budget, I decided to try it tonight. Looks like a typical 'hood' chinese food place, but it smells great. Small selection of food to choose from but it's done well. The egg drop soul is really good, with a savory flavor. The orange chicken and fried rice are amazing, really flavorful. The orange chicken is still crispy and the portions are great from the money. Combo #2 with soup is $9.90. My only real complaint is the bbq pork. It is flavorful but most pieces were chewy and greasy. I'd definitely recommend, the prices and the customer service makes it well worth the trip and price. If possible, I'd give 4 and a half stars. Will be back, like the woman at the cash register...

Unexpectedly excellent! Stopped in before heading back to phx after a long day fiishing and was greeted and assisted promptly. We arrived later in the day so a few choices were next to empty that we chose but they rectified it quickly without hesitation with substitutions. Service was excellent. Food was great. Price... couldn't have asked for a better value! (Kung Pao chicken is on the menu board, but they don't have anymore...

I love this place. Dynamite orange chicken. Super good egg drop soup. fantastic broccoli beef with tender pieces of beef in it. Excellent pepper steak when available, very tender. Great mushroom chicken. I've never had a disappointing meal there. They even have broccoli chicken for those that don't eat beef.
