It's owned by Patels!!!!! I stayed here for 6 days, (wed- mon) on Friday they had to move me from a king to a double because I was doing day to day. On Sunday, when I returned after being gone all day, my room want cool and it had a stench. I bought a candle hoping that would make it better, but it didn't. I spoke to the front desk and informed them that the AC in 103 want working properly. They owe to move me to a new room but this would have been my 3rd move. I wanted to give the AC a chance to redeem itself. It didn't! At 12:30am things were worse and I definately want going to entertain the option of mooching to a new room. Not when I planned to check out the next morning. When I was ready to check out, the desk clerk had to call the owner to get approval for any sort of a discount and the best he could do was give me 50% off one nights stay. With this being an older hotel, that invisible needs to be renovated, both rooms had a problem with moisture because of the older AC units. I could feel the moisture all over the bedding. The telephone was broken, the lamp only had 1 bulb in it and the bulb over the sink needed to be replaced. And let me not forget, the morning that I changed rooms, they had the charge my card again. I informed the desk clerk that I would be up in a few with the new card, not even 5 minutes later, I ran into Mr. Patel in the hall, asking me how was I going to take care of the bill. At that time informed him that the microwave in the new didn't work. I didn't get a new microwave until the next day but he definately swiped card with no hesitation.
No matter what state I'm in, if I stay at a hotel that's owned by a Patel, there's going to be a problem. It's been my experience in dealing with them, they are only concerned with collecting your money. They ate going to do the bare minimal to bring their hotel upto code and you look better not complaining with the hours of getting your issue resolved. I wonder what the hotels in India...
Read moreThis has to be one of if not the worst hotels I've had the misfortune of reserving. The Reservation Clerk was unbelievably unprofessional/rude. We walked up to the desk & I greet her with "hello" she responds do you have a reservation? I was taught differently, so again I greeted her-hello (I guess she thought I was hard of hearing) and she barks out " do you have a reservation" to which I replied...hello...good evening...how are you today...to which she responded yeah, yeah okay...I then replied with yes, we have reservations. She asks my name, I provide then she asks whether I am the famous Judge Santamayor-incorrectly- multiple times instead of requesting my credentials. I finally advised that no, I am not Judge Sotomayor. Well, If you were, I need your ID & credit card...finally. OMG, I have to say this Baymont Inn should be an embarrassment to the Wyndham Group. Door windows are so dirty/dingy. The smell when you enter the hall area smelled wet & musty. The curtains are tattered so no black out ability. No cups in room, couldn't even get any utensils for our use. The surrounding area also unkempt. Definitely not a full service hotel. The AC worked fine & the ice machine was made available-the only things right!! I have stayed in Baymont Inn in other locations and have always been treated kindly/respectfully...with a smile. We rented 2 rooms for 5 days...a mistake I will not...
Read moreWhen we first arrived we discovered that the hotel has no elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor. My wife and I both have back issues and having to carry all our luggage up the stairs was certainly not ideal. One we arrived in our room, we quickly discovered that our room was without several basic amenities as well as being very dated with rips in the loveseat and furniture in need of repair. The room was missing several items, including the microwave, hairdryer, coffeepot, and telephone, that the most basic of rooms would have been equipped with and which were even listed on your website as standard amenities. After walking down to the front desk and alerting them of the issues the staff did move us to another room on the first floor. We were placed in a handicap room and were told this was the only room available. The room we were assigned was also in need of repair as the attached pictures show. This was a completely unacceptable booking and stay and I feel either the hotel or the priceline website grossly misrepresented the hotel rooms and amenities. When asked, the staff would blame the issues on Covid-19 stating they were not allowed by corporate to serve breakfast and the hot tub was not replaced by the owner after having the pool resurfaced during the Covid shutdown. In both cases there was ample time to update the website listing to reflect the actual amenities available...
