Muqaddas Catering — Local services in San Marcos

We had Zahra/ Khatera cater our wedding event and we asked for appetizers, dinner, and dessert. We went back and forth multiple times and went over details. I was very confident in the service that she will provide.

However, comes day of event and she had never reached out to the venue to coordinate anything. They set up the appetizers as my guests were arriving, which looked nothing like what she promised me. I paid extra for a charcuterie table and it turns out to be a charcuterie plate. I asked her to restock as half my guests didn’t have appetizers yet and she calmly tells me she doesn’t want them to ruin their appetite for dinner. She did admit later on that her burgers were not enough for everyone but not to worry.

Her dinner setup was over 2 hours late, she was the only person going back and forth to set up. She had her “assistant” recording videos the whole time. Her dinner was good but because of how late it was, it ruined the whole nights schedule. Her dessert was okay, not what was promised.

I won’t recommend her for future large wedding events, maybe a house...

Muqaddas catering was amazing not only in the food but staff as well. We had a great time working with the staff to get the food just right for our wedding. The team was extremely responsive and accommodating to all of our needs.

One of the biggest compliments we can get from our wedding was that everyone loved the food and were stuffed! The team was incredibly nice and made sure to check in on us after every meal.
