RUDE, DIRTY, Annual Pass SCAM with no adult included.
We visited Peppa Pig on a Saturday based on the information provided on Google Maps, which stated they were open until 7 PM. Arriving at 5:35 PM, we purchased tickets without any notice that they would be closing at 6 PM. Around 5:50 PM, a staff member approached us in a very rude manner, telling us, almost verbatim, “We are closing gates, and you have to take your way to the exit.” When I asked why we were not informed earlier, they responded that there was a sign at the entrance stating the 6 PM closure. However, this sign is very small and easy to miss, especially when Google Maps displays a different time.
After leaving, I approached the staff at the entrance to inquire why they hadn’t warned us about the early closure when we purchased our tickets. Their response was shockingly rude: “We have a sign that says we close at 6, and you decided to buy tickets anyway. Google Maps is not our problem.” This dismissive attitude came from all three staff members—two girls and one guy.
This encounter left such a bad impression that I decided to cancel our annual pass. However, I was told, again rudely, that cancellations were “not available.” All I had asked for was a polite explanation and a heads-up if they were closing in 15 minutes. Basic courtesy seems to be missing entirely in this establishment.
On top of that, the facility itself was disappointing. The carpets and soft play areas were very dirty, making it unhygienic and unsuitable for crawling babies.
For comparison, the place opposite Peppa Pig is more expensive, but at least they provide good customer service. The staff there are friendly and warn you if they are about to close soon, which makes the experience far more pleasant. I would suggest either playing in a free playground or spending the extra money to go there—it’s worth it for the better experience.
And what a ridiculous deal to buy an annual pass that states a toddler must be accompanied by an adult at all times, but it turns out the adult’s admission is not included. At the very least, they should warn you about this. When I questioned it, the rude cashiers simply said, “It’s not like that,” with no further explanation.
Every other place we’ve visited offers far better policies. For example, at Kids Empire, two adults can accompany one toddler without extra fees. At Yu Kids, you’re only charged for the child. This setup at Peppa Pig feels like a...
Read moreIt was initially a fun experience for my kids (3 and 1) to see Peppa Pig World come to life. Seeing their eyes and faces light up when they first walk in is every parents dream!
However getting tickets was a hassle (if you are trying to reserve online through your phone, you have to view in desktop mode or you won't see available time slots).
There has to be some sort of employee supervision on the floor. I spent 2 hours there and not once did I see an employee come out and scan the floor. Kids will take the bikes out of the garage (even though signs visibly say they must stay in garage) and ride them throughout making it very dangerous for toddlers who constantly have to watch out for these kids who ride recklessly. I literally had to yank on my sons arm several times to get him out of the way when kids were blitzing through on the bikes. There's also some tension between parents and kids with who rides the bikes and how long they ride it for. I watched as bigger kids steal the bikes from littler kids and parents doing nothing about this. There are 30+ kids in the room with 3-4 bikes so do math. Can you guarantee every kid will have a chance to ride a bike, no, but at least put have some sort of policy. Certain kids will ride the bike, eat on the bike while riding, rest on the bike, for the entire 2 hours duration. Is teaching kids to share and/or wait their turn no longer taught by parents?
Some areas are extremely slippery with socks. Who thought it would be a good idea to mandate socks when half the area is linoleum floor? I can't tell you the number of times I've seen kids slip and fall from running too fast or slip in the playground/bus.
Some kids over 2 are wearing masks and some are not, some kids are wearing socks, some kids are swearing shoes. There seems to be no consistency whatsoever. Parents will let their kids run loose while they sit in the snack area and chit chat with one another when they are supposed to be "supervising" their kids. I really despise it when parents use this as a drop off zone to let their kids run wild while they pretend to sip wine off in the corner. And shame on the staff for encouraging this.
The store left a lot to be desired. It literally has the same 4 products just placed across different parts of the stores (toothbrush, candy dispenser, lunch box, figurines).
The idea is great, but the execution is poorly done. 2.5...
Read moreHad a party there today. It was nice but they are very overpriced. They charge $3 for a 20oz bottle of coke. They can combine the coke in a pitcher. So I ordered 3 pitchers of coke and it was $27. For the party room, the minimum paid child entry is 10 kids. I only had 7 kids and was told I can transfer the amount to the adults admission( $5 adult/$30 kids). I was informed at the end of the party they only transfer 1:1 ( one adult with one child). Really? Adults are $5, kids are $30. I wouldn't have invited some many adults if I were informed correct. You really need to get things in writing. It's your word against theirs.
When I booked the party, peppa pig was suppose to be there. They informed me a week before he will not be there. It now states that online that it's not guaranteed but that was written after I booked the party. They did give use discounts on the pictures but the pictures are not great. They are cut off and look abnormal with weird shadows.
My party was 3:30pm-5:30pm and party included unlimited play time- but they close at 6pm. It would have been nice for the person planning my party to mentioned that. Parking was horrible for all my guest ( it is Christmas season) so I would not book this around the holiday.
Lastly, they almost overcharged me at checkout because they did not have record of the paid adults. Overall experience was ok. The host was great and very attentive. Pizza was ok. That was the only reasonable priced item. They just nickel and dime you and because of that I wouldn't recommend.
I agree with the other complaints regarding enforcing mask. You did not see workers on the floor cleaning and enforcing mask. The bathroom was not...
