I really wish I could give 0 stars. This was the worst motel my mom and I EVER stayed at. We got into and checked in the lady was sick had hard time checking us in. Finally checked us in and told us we will not be getting keys to our room as the machine is broke. Was not happy about this as I don't like not have right away access to our stuff but I let it go. My mom and I were having a mother daughter weekend for mother's day and wanted to swim. The pool was broke. I said okay fine. The lady took us to our room (104) I started to bring our stuff in and the front desk lady actually helped bring to the room (very nice). We all our stuff in and we left to go to a graduation party got back about 9:30pm at the front desk it said to call to get assistance. We called multiple times and no answer finally someone answered and we asked to get in our room. Her key card did not work tried for 30 mins. She goes front desk and come back tells me we're supposed to be in 108. I told her this is the room you put us in she called the manager because we still could not get in our room and tell them "THEY DECIDED TO SWITCH ROOMS" No we didn't we don't even have a key to our room let alone any other room for that matter. They had to call another worker because he has a key that should work. 20 mins later he finally comes. We sat out in the hallway for 50 mins waiting to get in the room to our stuff. In the morning breakfast was down coffee maker was down. We were suppose to stay to nights and I decided no I was not going to do that again. I didn't get the whole refund for my night I didn't stay and surely don't think I should have paid for the horrible night we had. STAY FAR away from this place...
Read moreBed was uncomfortable: too soft, cheap frame without support, squeaked with any movement. Security latch on the door old, loose, ineffective. Room phone never worked the entirety of the stay. A/C worked only sometimes. TV wasn’t fixed until the last day of my stay despite repeated requests for repairs. Woken at midnight by staff coming to repair TV 1.5 hours after they told me it could not be fixed that night. This caused me great anxiety as my dog alerted for an intruder at the door and staff had left before communicating why they were there. No staff were ever present at the front desk. No phone was provided at the front desk for patrons to call staff at the provided phone number. I was only offered a different room once, after 10:30 pm on my second night, and I didn’t feel up to it due to severe fatigue. That offer was never followed up later by staff, despite repeated requests for repairs not being completed.
I wasn’t expecting a lot from a room booked with points, not from an EconoLodge. But I was still let down by the lack of basics expected in a hotel room, like a secure door latch and a working tv. I feel cheated out of my 48,000 points. I don’t feel what I received was even worth the $119 I paid out-of-pocket. I can guarantee that I will never return to this hotel because I will never be willing to give them cash or points for the stress of...
Read moreHotel is recently renovated. Room was clean enough. Pool (which is the size of a big hot tub, not a real pool) was unavailable. Front desk person spends 95% of the time away so you get to call the person on the phone whenever you need something and then wait (that’s super convenient). Only two sets of towels in a double bed room so you get to ask for more. Also, all the towels are worn out, not white, and are stained. The money you save on the room gets to be spent on going to find a breakfast somewhere in town. The 4 tiny tables in the breakfast area accommodate about two to three average sized families only, so there’s no room— and you’re tripping over each other constantly.
It would be easier to just list the items available for breakfast rather than what’s not available. Bread (no toaster); oatmeal packets (no milk); and a waffle machine with an empty batter container. Coffee, and a container of Walmart apple juice. No napkins; had to ask. Utter disappointment. Thanks for the carbs; now I can be hungry in an hour. Just kidding; I skipped breakfast because it was...
