I've always shopped this good will. Its clean. It's organized. The last time I stopped in however to say I was treated with patience and compassion cannot begin to explain how very much these special employees treated me at a time I did not even know how much I needed it that day...5 yrs ago I lost my 39 yr old son to an accidental overdose of his own prescribed medication. After a long battle with a very treatable mental illness and doctors and treatments centers for addiction and self medicating my precious boy and I believed we were on the right track finally....but sometime that day something starting going very wrong. We argued and he walked down the same stairs he had for years...angry but I knew ...I KNEW he would soon be up...hey mom...anything to eat? But I fell asleep and he passed away under my.roof on my watch. It was devastating. Our favorite adventures were second hand stores...he loved goodwill...I believe he let's me know when he's around....that day there was.a picture of a young boy looking out over a meadow from an attic window. I could not reach it...I did not feel well...but there from somewhere these kind women...took me under their wing ....I know this is long...but my son had the biggest kindest heart and faith....he did not care who needed it he was more than happy to give an outreach of kindness....i got to feel the gravity of what the power of just simply being kind holds... Thank you and God...

Some of the employees hate to work. And make me feel like im cuaseing them to work more. There are 2 nice people right now but there are some very very rude ladies. Send them on their way to find a different job please so people can feel comfortable shopping. You never know what people are dealing with in their lives. And as* at the counter just makes things worse. if you purchase alot they get irritated.! cuase they have one cashier. And other have to wait in line. Some of the prices are to high for ruined , snagged, non working items. And the cannot discount any further. They barley donate to the poor people. I've seen others donate more than this. I literally was followed around and couldn't shop. And interrupted the whole time I was shopping interrupted while speaking to another customer I was literally in conversation asked me same question 10 times. etc. Horrible customer...
Read moreScottsbluff, Nebraska Goodwill could be so much better. Every time I go in there their store shelves are empty and bare. Clothing is not organized by size or color, nor do they (ever) have XXL or XXXL sizes that I am looking for... Their standard "pat" answer is you just missed it! We always get new items every day! I personally think they either sell it on Facebook Marketplace or they send it somewhere else. I have shopped hundreds of Goodwill across the US, that's "my" thing and this has to be the worst as far as selection. If those people have time to stand around and talk to the customers (their friends) they should be sizing the clothing!! Cuz they aren't putting the good stuff on...
