Days Inn has been great while I was here for the last week. I never went down for breakfast, so can’t speak on it, but overall the Days Inn employees were great. This review is for the Hilton Brand, in the hopes they see this somehow. This hotel was acquired by the Hilton hotel brand to be renovated into their Spark by Hilton economy hotel brand. From my understanding, they’re taking rough hotels like this Days Inn, renovating it, and then upping the price. I’m staying in what I was told is a “finished” hotel room. I’m staying in what they told me is a Sparks by Hilton King Suite. That excited me, because I was expecting Days Inn quality, but when I was told I was in a brand new HILTON brand King Suite? My expectations were high. I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel, but I was expecting a finished Hilton brand economy suite would be nicer. I don’t know if they have someone from the brand doing walkthroughs during the process or what, but things aren’t going well. The room seems finished, but I also see things and can’t imagine that this is what Hilton would considered finished. Google “Landlord Special” and that’s this hotel. Light switch panels installed crooked, blue stains of some kind in the new bathroom flooring, blue paint on the light switch panel, tape or tape residue still stuck on a metal vent, lots of dust in the fan over the shower, rust ALREADY showing on the newer tile, why is the toilet seat bigger than the toilet?? Why didn’t Hilton have the shower replaced? It’s a busted up slippery old tub. Why didn’t they renovate a KING SUITE to have a walk in shower? I can’t imagine it’s something they’re going to just go back and do. If anything, I feel like they’re going to just go behind and paint it white and hope for the best. Hilton is giving this Days Inn the landlord special. They’re changing out the furniture, some appliances, changing some fixtures and hardware, flooring and tile, but they’re painting over issues, they’re letting things be installed incorrectly. They’re creating a poor product but they’re going to charge double the price next year. I’ll probably try to stay here in a year when I visit again, and I’ll try to stay in this same exact room, because by then it’ll be a Hilton brand Sparks hotel, and if these things are still all the same?? That would be crazy. I’m going to the newer Hilton grand vacations Maui location in 2 weeks. If THIS hotel is a representation of what the Hilton standards are now, I don’t know if I’ll feel comfortable committing to a 30k time share agreement. I’d be afraid this is the kind of thing I’d see. Also, the road noise here is actually insane. I’ve been here a week, the road noise is terrible, especially if you’re staying on the Winnfield Dunn side. All night, you can hear trucks revving their engines, all the big diesel trucks hauling their RVs and whatnot, semi trucks, sports cars, people just being crazy in their loud cards. It’s consistent, all day, and goes till midnight, EVERY night. Literally just left the building, they’re replacing all of the old busted sconces with very cheap looking sconces, and they’re painting the outside to resemble the rest of the Spark by Hilton hotels. Added some pictures of the elevator that looks like a horror show and the random nail in the elevator. Overall, it’s exactly what I’d expect for a DAYS INN, but terrible for what is being transitioned into a Hilton hotel 😅 also the balcony’s face the highway lol you’ve got great views of the new liquor store and the much nicer looking Best Western across the street.

DO NOT STAY HERE! We got there late Wed. night and checked in. It took awhile because the person in front of me his reservation were messed up. They did stop with him and check me in. We got into our room and it had a really weird smell. Fridge didn't work. Bathroom door stuck and was hard to open. I did not sleep well the first night because the people above us were loud all night and you could hear the traffic from the highway. The next morning before we left around 9:00 a.m. I told the gentleman at the front desk or refrigerator was not working and he said he would send someone to our room to fix it. We got back at 4 that afternoon and it was still not fixed. I spoke to the new lady at the front desk and she was somewhat rude. Voiced my concerns and she was like well what did the room smell like, I said I don’t know how to explain it. She is like well our cleaning people clean. I said good, but it still has a weird smell. She kept asking about the smell and I said look, I can’t explain it if you want to know I can take you in there and let you smell yourself! Then she avoided my concern about the fridge and she was like well I can’t fix it myself, we have someone to do it and I have not seen him. She finally agreed to switch us to another room if we liked. I told her ok for now; I would check it out and decide. Well in the meantime, my husband and son went to the pool. The pool was so cloudy from chemicals you could not even see my sons legs under water. That was it. We were over it and just wanted to check out and go somewhere else. I took the keys back up to the front and said we would be checking out in the a.m. when the manager got there and we were not switching rooms for one night. I told her about the pool and she wanted to argue with me and tell me the pool just reopened and had passed codes etc. I said the pool being cloudy has nothing to do with codes, it is chemicals. She said we don’t put chemicals in our pool. I said what is chlorine then? She was clueless. WOW! I went back to my room to take a shower and as I got out a gentleman knocked on the door and said housekeeping. I am like we do not need anything. He kept standing there (I could see him out of peep hole). I had my husband answer and he talked with him. I ended up going back to the front desk and found out he was the manger. He was very nice and told me he would refund my other 2 nights we were supposed to stay there. So we checked out the next morning and got a nicer hotel down the road. There is stuff all in the hallway right by the front office, the vending machines don’t work and there is stuff all behind the building in the parking lot. Just dirty! If you want cheap and don’t care about this stuff it will be the perfect motel for you. If you do, save yourself the headache.

I booked my room in person after being promised they had rooms available last minute for one night! We got into our room at about 12am and we were gone by 1am. The bathtub had old hair and dirt all along the top and bottom of the shower. There was hair on the toilet, in the floor and plastic behind the door. I overlooked the hair because I wanted a shower and to sleep after having a bad day with hotels. There was red stuff splattered along the wall behind the tv and some of the outlets didn’t work. No lightbulb in the lamp and a hole in the wall. I was ignoring it all to sleep but we ended up leaving. I went down to the front desk and was helped by a nice man who really gave me no trouble. He refunded me while I stood there and I was on my way! The money was immediately put back into my account and I was satisfied and left. Around 4am I was recharged for the room I didn’t stay in nor was I even in the same state at this point. I called the front desk over 10 times and was hung up on, ignored and ignored again and I even went through customer care. No luck whatsoever. I then hid my number while calling and was answered in the first ring. The man seemed nice enough and I was told they don’t know why it recharged me and they would reverse it. I’m now waiting for the money to come back and I’m hoping it does so I no longer have to deal with this awful hotel. Honestly I just wouldn’t even deal with this place

Had to leave a star in order to leave a review. I don't like leaving bad reviews. In fact I normally try to just ignore most of these opportunities to give reviews if my experience was not that great. Will leave my opinion when my experience was just wrong on so many levels! We stayed there for 2 nights. Our first day and night there was good. No complaints! Our second day and night was good as well. Waking up to get ready for Check Out though was entirely another story! Started with My (Very) Cold Shower! Because evidently their Hot Water Tank was Not working! My Daughter called the Front Desk immediately (1st call was approximately 8:50) letting them know Our Room had No Hot Water! We had planned on being Checked Out no later than 10:00 (Check Out is 11:00) because we had plans before heading home (307 miles). I Showered at 8:30. On the Third Call she was told that the Plumber was supposed to have been there within 30 minutes of her First Call. This was all within 1 hour! Was also told that the entire place had No Hot Water! The Desk Attendant told us we'd be given a 'Late Check Out'. The Workers came to our room There times to see if we had left or was going to soon (With their Cleaning Carts). They were told each time why we had Not left yet. Their first two times was actually before Check Out time! We Not Only had to take Cold Showers but was rushed as well! By their Cleaning Crew! My Daughter called Two More Times to see if hopefully The Plumber had arrived or at least called. On her Last Call she actually had to remind the Desk Attendant that 'she (Desk Attendant) had given us a Late Check Out' because evidently she didn't understand why we were still there! Asked if we were staying Another Night! By then we were running way behind our planned schedule so my Daughter and her Friend gave up and just took Cold Showers as wellat 11:40 & 12:00! My Daughter bathed my 5 year old Granddaughter off. We were Not taking a chance of her getting sick! I don't see Any 5 year old wanting to take a Cold Bath or Shower! Yes, I realize Some Countries are grateful for any Water...We Are in The United States of America! We Surely Do Not Pay for Cold Showers! We finally Checked Out around 1:30. That was 3 1/2 Hours Past what we had planned! Plus by that time we were All Very Hungry! Thank God we had some 'Left Overs' in the Refrigerator to snack on! I don't believe we even got an apology. I know we were in No Way Reimbursed for Our Inconveniences Due to Them and of course 'the Plumber they called'! Yes, I realize things happen but I also know there's Multiple Choices When things happen in order to Fix Them! Some people may enjoy a cool shower. I can't imagine anyone enjoying Cold Showers. I Know We Didn't!!! I can say with certainty I do Not Ever plan on staying Here Again! Nor will I be recommending them to Anyone! Honestly if I'm ever asked about Places to stay 'This Place' will be 'Definitely Not...
