Smokies Motel Sevierville Kodak — Hotel in Sevierville

Please, please, PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. We just got robbed out of $104. The owners are absolutely terrible. This is the WORST experience I've ever had. Allow me to explain:

-We checked in, went into the room. Right away, the smell and dust triggered my allergies and I got a reaction. Nose got stuffed, starting sneezing, stomach starting hurting. The room was old and smelly: tube TV, smelly carpets and blankets.

-Any reasonable owner would understand the situation and attend to it properly, by refunding the customer's money. Not this guy. I went to the guy and told him, and he couldn't have cared less. I tried to explain to him that I had a medical reaction to the room, and he just kept arguing with me about the "policy." He said the best he could do was either to give me a different room (how would that help?) or to have me check out now and pay for two nights (I had 5 nights reserved). In other words, he wanted me to give him free money for having an allergic reaction to his dusty, trashy, smelly room. How does that make sense?

-It gets worse. Eventually, another woman came and quickly threatened to call the cops on us. What? Call the cops on us for simply talking in a civilized manner, trying to reason with him? Are you kidding me? Obviously the cops wouldn't do anything but just the fact that she used that to intimidate us is disgusting. Her attitude was absolutely horrendous: she was arrogantly mentioning that my sister "should be educated and know" this and that. Absolutely vile and repulsive attitude from both of the owners.

-Eventually, we decided that these owners were not able to attend to a reasonable conversation, and decided that it was in the best of our interests to hand them a free $104 for two nights in order to check out. Yes, in order to check out, I want to highlight that we had to PAY him to CHECK OUT of the dusty motel room that I had an allergic reaction to.

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had, and I beseech anyone who is considering this place to LOOK ELSEWHERE, because you do not want to have to deal with a smelly, dusty room with owners who will call the police on you for...

them old pictures” Ok…. Then why not update the dump then? The windows are open when you walk in, it’s HOTTTTTT turned the air on to find the vent cover is broken, it wouldn’t cool the room. There was trash and shoes all over the pool area assuming it’s his family’s stuff since they lived right there. The TV is from the 80s doesn’t work good. Just DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I wish I would of gotten more photos from the first room also.

&.. since they like to respond to try and make themselves look good… Let’s clear something up. I DIDN'T ask For a refund until we walked into your NASTY RUN DOWN rooms! & just like the 3 people who pulled in and seen pictures and went other places. If you actually CARED to Make things better you would have better reviews! Bc I’m not the only one who has its completely NASTY!

Absolutely disgusting and horrendous! Where do I start? The rooms are disgusting, smell disgusting, etc. The people smoke in them regardless of what the hotel management says. The beds are stained, the bed sheets are stained, the bathrooms are barely ever clean when you check out a room. The staff there (Except a lady named Becky) had attitude like they owned the place. In my opinion all of them need to lose their jobs and be replaced. The management lets employees and residents bully, harass and threaten people. An employee named Alyssa and her “boyfriend” do nothing but harass people. When we (my family) stayed there in the few months we were out of a house we watched multiple altercations go down with an older couple which the management refused to deal with because of “money”. Just because these people paid in advance they didn’t kick them out when they were obviously intoxicated and HITTING one another! There is always trash and things outside peoples doors. Obviously people don’t mind for chairs and stuff like that but bags of trash? The dumpster is right beside the building! They try and have “BBQ’s” for all their new residents and former to act like they are nice but exclude people they don’t particularly “like”.
