I don’t enjoy leaving less-than-positive reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience for the benefit of future clients.

I typically see Hannah for my lash appointments and have always been satisfied with her work. However, during my recent visit, she was out of the country and I was scheduled with a different technician, Carol. Overall, the appointment went smoothly—Carol was attentive to my preferences and I was happy with how my lashes turned out.

That said, I did experience an issue that I believe is worth mentioning. The adhesive used during the application process sometimes seeps into the eyes, which can cause a brief stinging sensation—this has happened to me more than once. After this last visit, I noticed continued discomfort in my left eye. By the following day, the irritation persisted and my lower eyelid had become swollen. Upon further inspection, I noticed a white bump inside the eyelid, which may indicate an infection. I now need to see an eye doctor to address this before it potentially worsens.

While I appreciate the affordability of this salon and the quality of service in many respects, this experience has made me reconsider whether a slightly higher-cost provider with stricter safety protocols might be a better option for me moving forward.

I have been going to EK Beauty for about 6 months now and never have a bad experience. Emily helps me every time with my lashes, everyone there is so kind and gentle. I usually go 2 weeks without a fill but if I wanted to go 4 weeks (I have before) I totally can and they still look stunning and last so long. EK Beauty services are one of a kind.
