The Scout Cottages — Hotel in Sisters

I travel all the time for my job and rarely find an establishment that doesn't lack in some capacity, until staying here. I booked this cottage as a birthday getaway and can't even express how much I loved it. I asked for an early check-in because I have four children and honestly just couldn't get to my weekend retreat fast enough, and Jenny in the office was more than willing to accommodate me. More so, when I arrived she made sure my key code worked, and when I couldn't identify where a random beeping sound was coming from (the microwave by the way, so embarrassing) she walked over and helped me right away. I stayed in cottage 4 and was delighted by the comforts and the heated floors in the bathroom. HEATED FLOORS. In central Oregon, there is no greater gift. The fireplace, coffee, and gorgeous farmhouse feels. It was the best gift I've ever given myself. Not to mention, it was super easy to log into my personal Netflix account, and everything you could eat or drink is within walking distance. But they provide bikes at no extra charge if you prefer that. I'm honestly looking to see if I can book all six cottages for a little sisters weekend in sisters. The cabin was mostly wonderful. When we walked in there was a nice basket of snacks on the shelf. We thought it was a welcome gift as there wasn't any sign with prices like a mini bar has. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and very walk-able to town. Imagine our surprise when the afternoon after check out we were charged $29 to our credit card. We questioned the charge and were told it was for the snacks and that everything had a price. We still have three of the items and two of the items do not have any price on them. One has a small sticker. We can't speak for sure for the items we already had but we did not notice any price stickers. What was a nice stay was dampened by this trickery. There should be a definite sign stating there will be a charge for the items. We would have bought them at the supermarket ourselves for a better price than we were charged. The cabin was very nice and the only suggestion I would have is that there should be a glass door on the shower because it was very chilly taking a shower without one. Our stay at the Cottage Inn was phenomenal! We just returned from three days of being pampered in this delightful bed and breakfast. The owners, Vicki and Jeff, made us feel so welcomed, and have set the bar high on these brand new accommodations centrally located in Sisters. They have taken care of every detail, from the luxurious bed linens to the fresh morning breakfast delivered in a cute little picnic basket. Seven individual Cottages sit on this property, each with their unique characteristics. We stayed in Cottage 5, which was spacious, glamorous and had a fireplace. The rolling barn doors and wooden beams added to the charm. They have bikes you can use to check out the area, or it’s a short walk to town. There is also an outdoor fire pit where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful flowers and ambience. We had never been to Sisters before and we were delighted to discover this charming area, and these well appointed cottages. We really did not want to leave.
