My wife and I wanted to try something different so we decided to pick up some Cook Out on our way home. The drive thru line was long, and was moving kinda slow. Popular place?, not sure. We ordered a bacon cheddar dog, large chili cheese fries, spicy style char-grill chicken breast with coleslaw, onion rings and two drinks. Home is 2 miles away, so 10 minute or less commute. First impressions... food temperatures were slightly warm. The fries were warmest item in the order. Wife said the chicken sandwich was hard, and they didn't put her onion rings in either of our bags. My hot dog was very basic. My vision of what I thought I was getting and what I got didn't match up. I also didn't get chili on my fries as I ordered them. To summarize our first time visit... the order was taken incorrectly, we didn't get all of our purchased items and quality of food was questionable. This operation maybe was having an off day and or it being a holiday, who knows but it'll be a very long time before we try this place again.

I’ve been going to Cookout for several years now and around 1:30 A.M. On January 9th, 2023, I visited the Cookout location at 491 Sam Ridley Pkwy W, Smyrna, TN 37167, and when I arrived I waited at the drive thru speaker for almost 10 minutes with no answer, i then went to the drive thru window, and the lady told me she put me on hold, but i could still order, and then I proceeded to order my food, I ordered a “Chicken Strip Tray, with Double Fries, and a Sweet Tea” she then told me to drive around saying there was no one else in front , but their were 3 people in front of me, so again I waited about another 10 minutes, and then I received my food. When I got home , I proceeded to eat my food, then discovered in one of the chicken strips, that it was full of bones! 🤮🤢 I was completely disgusted and dissatisfied truly. So I threw everything away. This is completely unacceptable and unnecessary, I want action to be taken, and will no longer ever visit this location.

GIVING ZERO STARS—— PLEASE READ. i have been to this location multiple times and food is not the best but i still like it because prices are cheap, BUT i had came in there after graduation day and somehow lost my id. after looking everywhere for the past couple of weeks i heard from someone there my id had been seen w my name and everything there. i have been very busy due to my mother having surgery but i finally went in about 7 days later and right off first bat i told them i believe my id was there and the front counter member said to someone in the back “the girl with the id is here” and he turned back around and i said i have a picture and everything of it and he said “we don’t have a id here” then a manger finally made his way up to the front and said “we have no id here” and i said someone who worked here told me it was here and he said “we have no id here, its not here” and kept repeating that so i left my name and number w the person and said please contact me if you find it. later i go and sit in my car and tell my boyfriend what had happened and i see the manger and some women shadely walk out to a car and then the manger walks back in. i though nothing of it but now reading a review i see some thing happen to a girl w her card she never got it back and was later charged 150 dollars i tried calling the service number multiple times and was led to a voicemail box. i will be back tmr and if there is no information on my id i will be back with some law or corporate this is very shady and would not trust this cookout with any cards or anything. will not be back to...

The service here is always great. I NEVER like to complain but this experience just bothers me so much. There’s this one guy named Solom who worked the drive thru window on Sunday November 10th at 1:40am!!!! He lead me to experience the absolute worst experience in all for ever going back to Cook Out all over a simple Chicken Quesadilla that was ordered and I never received it in my cookout tray. I’ve never in my life experienced such disrespect over a food item that was never received. This experience was highly embarrassing and the reason why I try to avoid dealing with people at fast food establishments because their customer service skills are the absolute worst. I’ve had the incident where I had onion rings instead of the 2 sides I originally asked for. And the drive thru person never argued with me but this guy was completely just down right rude about a quesadilla I’m so thankful it wasn’t an actual full meal who knows what he would’ve acted like if he’s capable of acting in such way over a quesadilla to me as a guest in...
