Update!! DISHONEST RESTAURANT DO NOT GO HERE My first time coming here and honestly I’m surprised by the “good service” reviews. I didn’t get that experience at all. I love Indian cuisine and was excited to try the food here but I am so put off by the encounter I had here I won’t be coming back. I tried to consider “maybe they’re busy” but the place only had 1 or 2 tables occupied. I placed my order and was basically scolded about what I was ordering and told I didn’t order enough food for the nann. It was really weird- considering I was paying for overpriced nann it was shocking to me I would be treated in such a manner. Who cares how much nann I order- not that I have to explain but my kids love nann by itself! I’m a paying customer so what’s it to you? Again- weird. To top it off I waited a long time for Togo and didn’t get my food until I asked how much longer (after about 20min). The guy who scolded me previously bitterly asked if I paid (which I did) then instead of showing me the contents inside my Togo bag he stapled it and left it on the table instead of handing it to me. Not to mention it was right by the to go utensils which he did not include - (don’t worry I grabbed it myself). Like I said I’m HUGE on customer service and I didn’t get an appreciated feeling like other reviewers had, lucky I tipped anything at all after the odd display of customer service. Hopefully it’s better for you if you go. Food- I ordered chicken Tikka masala, it was okay giving 2 stars because the food was warm but I will mention my 8 (overpriced) nann I ordered… 3 of them were burnt. Update- I just realized they NEVER GAVE ME 8 nann I paid for they gave me 3 . I thought my kid ate the other nann but they didn’t!! Lowering my review to 1 star. I would give a zero if I could! I am so upset they ripped me off! DISHONEST RESTAURANT DO NOT GO HERE

Because it's in the Publix strip, the parking is plenty and well lit. The interior is very clean and nice. It's less vibrant than other Indian spots, but we were welcomed warmly and seated. We were, I believe, the only ones to dine in. They did appear to have regular takeaway orders going out. We started with aloo tikki and vegetable pakora. These vegetable pakora were on point: just the right amount of spiced and crispy! The aloo tikki were a little different than I'm used to, but I liked them. They reminded me of the mashed potato cakes my grandmother would sometimes make but merged with Indian spices. They were really good, though they looked a bit overcooked. They did not taste overcooked at all. Our entrees were lamb vindaloo, chicken sag, and vegetable korma with a garlic naan. The garlic naan was delicious and compared to other local restaurants. The vegetable korma was kind of bland and a little... Greasy feeling in the mouth. It was almost like there was a lot of butter, and I felt the flavor was lacking. The lamb vindaloo was very good. The lamb was tender and the spice level, though a little lower than expected, was good. I am accustomed to vindaloo with a little more punch, but that could also have been the reduced spice level. The star of the meal, for me, was the chicken sag! The chicken was moist and tender, the sauce was so very good, and the spice level was on point. I really could have eaten the whole portion of that. Which gets me to the portions. They seemed small, which went with the lower prices. Whereas we usually order less and take home more, we also usually spend more. This is, I think, a reasonable trade. You'll find the bill near the end with the menu photos. All in all, it's worth a visit!

When we walked into the empty restaurant at 3 pm on Sunday 4/18/21, the individuals working there look like they just woke up after we stood in the restaurant for approximately 2 minutes, waiting for someone to greet us. Our waiter was a rude person, and he did not have any customer service skills. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The food tasted horrible. I am from India, and I have eaten this food many times, so with confidence, I can say the cook did not cook the food right. We order saag paneer. It didn't taste enjoyable; it was bitter. I asked for water numerous times; I never received it. The mango lassi tasted odd. I ordered a salad, and it was not what I expected. That, too, did not taste good. After we finished eating, the server asked if we were done eating and told me to come to pay at the register. He hinted to us to leave. The server did not provide good service at all. I think they forgot we brought them business. We will not be returning to this restaurant again. They sat close by to us, just waiting for us to leave. I have included pictures of the salad and saag paneer. I will be very critical with restaurants because customer service has gone down. Do not waste your money here.

I've held off writing a review of this spot because I have had widely varied experiences with the service over the past three years of eating there. I will leave it at that. The service is never going to be the most efficient, streamlined, or memorable part of any trip here. It is what it is. That said, it has managed to balance out at a level I'd call acceptable. I happen to really like these folks so the gaps in attention to detail from the front of house don't bother me anymore, but in the interest of being objective and to provide an unbiased review I had to point this out, to the chagrin of my wife to whom these folks can simply do no wrong. You should come here for the food. You should get in your car, grab some friends, stop by the beer store and pick up a six pack of Kingfisher, and head there. Now. Tonight. They don't sell alcohol but you can bring your own. Or not. The food. Did I mention the food? It's tied for the best Indian I've ever had, anywhere in the world. I like Ethnic food a whole lot, especially Indian, and I've had it in hundreds of different places. Every single thing on the menu just explodes with flavor. You don't even need to wander into meat curries to get full, they have utterly delicious vegetarian side dishes and entrees as well. It's also pretty, without immersing you in campy the way most Indian places can. It's comfortable, and they play their own music, not stuff tailored for a Western or American crowd. The food is also not tailored to an American market, and will light you on fire. If you order a heat of zero, it will actually have a bit of spice, which is authentic to their native cuisine. Make note of this. If you go with Vindaloo at level 5 you better have a tolerance, or a designated driver, as the hallucinations will be severe. Amazing Goat Vindaloo. Shrimp Korma. Fish Masala. Saag Aloo. Aloo Gobi. The best Naan ever. Delicious Raita. Awesome...
