Read moreI've held off writing a review of this spot because I have had widely varied experiences with the service over the past three years of eating there. I will leave it at that. The service is never going to be the most efficient, streamlined, or memorable part of any trip here. It is what it is. That said, it has managed to balance out at a level I'd call acceptable. I happen to really like these folks so the gaps in attention to detail from the front of house don't bother me anymore, but in the interest of being objective and to provide an unbiased review I had to point this out, to the chagrin of my wife to whom these folks can simply do no wrong. You should come here for the food. You should get in your car, grab some friends, stop by the beer store and pick up a six pack of Kingfisher, and head there. Now. Tonight. They don't sell alcohol but you can bring your own. Or not. The food. Did I mention the food? It's tied for the best Indian I've ever had, anywhere in the world. I like Ethnic food a whole lot, especially Indian, and I've had it in hundreds of different places. Every single thing on the menu just explodes with flavor. You don't even need to wander into meat curries to get full, they have utterly delicious vegetarian side dishes and entrees as well. It's also pretty, without immersing you in campy the way most Indian places can. It's comfortable, and they play their own music, not stuff tailored for a Western or American crowd. The food is also not tailored to an American market, and will light you on fire. If you order a heat of zero, it will actually have a bit of spice, which is authentic to their native cuisine. Make note of this. If you go with Vindaloo at level 5 you better have a tolerance, or a designated driver, as the hallucinations will be severe. Amazing Goat Vindaloo. Shrimp Korma. Fish Masala. Saag Aloo. Aloo Gobi. The best Naan ever. Delicious Raita. Awesome...

My first time coming here and honestly I’m surprised by the “good service” reviews. I didn’t get that experience at all. I love Indian cuisine and was excited to try the food here but I am so put off by the encounter I had here I won’t be coming back. I tried to consider “maybe they’re busy” but the place only had 1 or 2 tables occupied. I placed my order and was basically scolded about what I was ordering and told I didn’t order enough food for the nann. It was really weird- considering I was paying for overpriced nann it was shocking to me I would be treated in such a manner. Who cares how much nann I order- not that I have to explain but my kids love nann by itself! I’m a paying customer so what’s it to you? Again- weird. To top it off I waited a long time for Togo and didn’t get my food until I asked how much longer (after about 20min). The guy who scolded me previously bitterly asked if I paid (which I did) then instead of showing me the contents inside my Togo bag he stapled it and left it on the table instead of handing it to me. Not to mention it was right by the to go utensils which he did not include - (don’t worry I grabbed it myself). Like I said I’m HUGE on customer service and I didn’t get an appreciated feeling like other reviewers had, lucky I tipped anything at all after the odd display of customer service. Hopefully it’s better for you if you go.
Food- I ordered chicken Tikka masala, it was okay giving 2 stars because the food was warm but I will mention my 8 (overpriced) nann I ordered… 3 of them were burnt.
Update- I just realized they NEVER GAVE ME 8 nann I paid for they gave me 3 . I thought my kid ate the other nann but they didn’t!!
Lowering my review to 1 star. I would give a zero if I could! I am so upset they ripped me off! DISHONEST RESTAURANT...
