Jose’s Kitchen is 100% my new favorite spot. We were in Smyrna on a random Wednesday night and were recommended to come here by a local. I’m SO glad I listened. The staff? So warm, welcoming, and professional. Attentive without hounding. Friendly while letting us enjoy our meal. Just delightful. The food, though. The food is where they REALLY won me over. Mexican-Asian fusion, and well-crafted?! Sign me up. We split the Honey Lime Jalapeño Chicken, the Al Pastor Fried Rice, and a slice of their Apple Habañero Cake. It all was fun and delicious. The way they incorporated Mexican flavors in more traditional Chinese dishes just WORKED. The pineapple in the fried rice combined with the seasonings in the al pastor was next level, by the way. And the kick in the honey lime jalapeño chicken AND apple habañero cake? SO WONDERFUL. Plus the prices are more than fair for the quality. They even put little bits of mango on the side salads! I can’t wait to go back, and I feel so lucky I found this spot!!!

Terrible service. Don't go alone because the party of 6 that arrives 20 minutes after you becomes the priority. They got there 4 appetizers same time I got 1. I honestly believe they would have gotten theres 1st if I hadn't reminded her twice because it was just made before I got it,so hot I couldn't touch it and no comment from the waitress. The only reason I stayed is because I didn't want to disappoint the person I was getting a carryout for. Had to ask for silverware. Had to go to the bar for refill and napkins. Just really bad. Food was great though.

This is one of my favorite places to go in Smyrna. The wings and Three Flavor Chicken are awesome. Today, while enjoying my wings I declared them exceptional. Serves are attentive, though not as confident in menu offerings as you’d hope while asking questions. I’ve had other dishes here as well and they were good, too, but these are my favorite items. Edit: 4 years later and Jose's is still my favorite restaurant in Smyrna. Quesadilla, Mongolian chicken/beef, potstickers...all great.

Casual, clean, comfortable little place with a unique, diverse menu and some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Will definitely be back to try other dishes, and I've already recommended it to coworkers and friends.

Update, March 2025: ate lunch here again for the first time in a few months. I usually have their fish or shrimp tacos, which are always delicious, but this time I decided to try the Cajun Lime Duo. Truly one of the best restaurant meals I've had in a long time. Excellent!

This place is a gem of Smyrna.

June 13, 2024: I've always eaten lunch here, but tonight I'm having dinner. Decided on the Cajun Lime Duo again, and as always, everything is cooked to perfection. The salad is super fresh and colorful. Just delicious.

José's is the best restaurant in Smyrna, IMO. I tell as many people as possible about it because I want the community to be able to enjoy and support this great little place. In a sea of chain restaurants, this is quality food in a relaxed, comfortable...

Best in the city!!!!!!! You will not be disappointed! The staff is ALWAYS nice. I love how they take your order without writing it down. You can order 1 million things, and they will remember all of it. Lol. Plus, it comes out correct.

Now let me tell you about that Chipotle sauce!!!!!!! If you don't know it, you better get to know it. It is a hidden jewel that I accidentally found out about when I ordered the mushroom tacos (bomb). I get two sides of the sauce and put one on my fried rice (amazing) and the other on whatever else I have.

I wish I had pictures to show, but I eat the food as soon as it comes out. Lol.

They recently added drinks to their menu. Margarita plus fried rice with Chipotle sauce.. yes, please!!!

I have told so many people about this place, and every single one of them have LOVED it. Now it's your turn to go and try it. You will be happy. Tell them BETTER ME, BETTER WE...
