The trick to getting the best Asuka has to offer is to go is when it is busy. Check out the Popular times shown on Google. When you want a Buffet with a BUNCH of options this is a good place to go. The price is a little more than I like to pay, so we make sure we are hungry before going. There is a fine art to being hungry just enough to enjoy eating and not getting hangry before and while you are there! The flavors are interesting and fresh. The Hibachi grill lets you pick fresh ingredients and get your favorite flavors added to the plates. Whatever you want. They also have a sushi bar with shrimp, rice, salmon and other items. The ice cream is high-quality Mayfields brand and there are about a half-dozen flavors. Waitresses are very attentive and brought our bill out at our second serving. I see some people feel it is a rush/nudge to get people to hurry up. Not me, I went three more rounds. No big deal - no one cares, so just enjoy yourself and get a taste of everything you can. With all the options you will find some favorites.

So I like to travel to visit different restaurants. So I decided I would give this place a try regardless of the reviews! This place was the best in Smyrna Area that I have ever tried, food was fresh, also hot. The flavors was amazing. There are so many options to choose from. I went during the lunch buffet. The restaurant was very clean I wouldn't complain about anything, except the service provided by the server's. There was 5 on the side I was sitting on. It was only 2 really interested in their jobs the other 3 was either on the phone, or cleaning beans at one of the tables, instead of picking up the dirty plates, or offering refills. I had to ask for my server twice! This is only the issue!!! Update!! This place is awesome went again on August 2 2025 at lunch. All food was great as usually. The male waiter is the best! He always stays on top of refills, and clears the plates off the tables.

We've been going here since they opened. I've had one bad experience where a server wanted me to increase tip. As a previous server, this was not ok by me. This was in the first year of them opening. In all the times I've been since, food is fresh, servers are on point and hibachi is great. Would recommend at least a try, I enjoy them very much. **Update** went back early 11/22 and was so disappointed. Had a gentleman server who cleared my plate ONCE and refilled my drink ONCE. I'm generally a good tipper having been a server myself. I left $3 due to the service and while I was distracted, he said "wow, $3"!!! Are you serious? Had I heard that, he wouldn't have gotten what he did. I notice all the servers tend to linger at your table now til they see what tip is. One more time and I won't go back

We used to eat here all the time and loved it and brought family and friends here quite often. However, several months ago, something changed, and now, I wouldn't even bring my dog here. All the food has changed for the worst. They took away the frog legs and replaced them with bland, rubbery fish. None of the regular dishes taste good anymore. The sushi, which I used to adore, now reminds me of some pre-packaged gas station sushi. The rice is just not the right flavor or texture. Not only that, but it has a rotten fish smell (so does all the seafood on the buffet). Then, every time I eat the hibachi, it tastes like the sauces have soured or the meat has gone bad. And if the food quality isn't bad enough, the service has taken a nosedive toward non-existent. They let little kids run around and play with the ice cream scoops and finger the food on the buffet and touch all the clean tables after coming out of the bathroom without washing their hands. SO GROSS. I really wish the people who used to work there were still there. Seems like different owners who don't care. I have complained the last two times, and they could care less and just take my money without an apology or anything.

please note This review was written 3 years ago. We tried it yet again this week, and nothing has changed. If anything, it's gotten worse. The little Mexican kids running around are unbearable, and when you try to tell them to stop running, they look at you, unable to understand English, laugh, and run off mocking you in Spanish. Also, my 2 granddaughters and I suffered horrible abdominal cramps and raging diarrhea the next day. The health dept. needs to check this place out. And, the cost has doubled since we were...

Sunday afternoon my daughter and I went to zucca for mother-daughter outing and dinner the food was good we didn't have to wait for our drinks to be brought other than that the most of it was good the problem was when I went to leave excuse myself while my daughter finished her ice cream do you use the restroom đźšş my daughter who is 15 finish your ice cream she had instructions on paying the tab the waitress came and took the envelope with my card in it paid the check brought it back my daughter picked my card up like she was supposed to my daughter signed the receipt like she had been instructed to when my daughter went to leave to come out to the vehicle and wait for me the waitress demanded her come back and held her hostage at the table demanding a tip I plan on leaving a $5 tip cash when I was doing the restroom instead she was demanding it from my 15 year old child I talked to someone who claimed to be the manager explain the problem and what was wrong she come over and had to stick her nose in it instead of leaving it alone I told her to her face she should not have held my daughter hostage demanding a tip from her she was getting a decent tip until then my daughter and I went to leave we made it just outside the doors on the sidewalk she chased us down demanding tip and then had the nerve to tell me that she never mentioned a tip to my daughter my daughter was making it up I will be damned if a waitress is going to treat my daughter like that we will not be back to azucar because of her I understand waitresses depend on tip for a living I have no problem giving them tip I have a problem when you demand tip...

First, today being Christmas my family and I decided to head to the buffet we frequent. When we got there it wasn’t too busy and seemed like an amazing idea, That slowly started shift. When we got there the server took our drink order, upon receiving one of the four drinks something was floating in it. We called the waitress back over to have her assist us but it was like she didn’t have any idea what we were speaking about. She took the drink to the back and brought the same cup back to us as it was. The sushi tasted not fresh AT ALL. The crown jewel to this whole situation is…the $75 bill marked “Christmas Day Buffet” . Keep in mind it was myself, my husband and two children. We have eaten at this buffet several times, each time it was less than $40. NO ONE was made aware of the upcharge to the buffet, it wasn’t marked anywhere , posted anywhere or told to us by the server…Well, “It’s Christmas so of course it would be more expensive”… Ehhhh no, not for the SAME FOOD AS EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK. Nothing was different, Nothing was special.. I understand the workers are working on a holiday (some do not celebrate mind you) That’s specifically why we were expecting and planning on tipping generously. HOWEVER….the service of the staff (our drinks weren’t refilled) and the fact that I had to share a drink with my husband.because the waitress refused/didn’t change his drink so it sat there as he drank from mine. SEVENTY-FIVE…..$75 would have been better shredded and used for Christmas gift stuffing than eating...
