Yosemite Region Resorts — Hotel in Sonora

The owners Rob and Tara Stone of Yosemite Region Resorts are the worst. For example, they never get back to you within 48 hours, you have to contact them multiple times to get a response if they ever get back to you, if there is an issue they blame the owner never anyone else, multiple times I had top look at my monthly statement with a fine tooth comb as they habitually overcharge you, in fact, they had to refund me many times for overcharges, they claim to have their reports generate on the 15th of the month and it is the 20th today and the report is still not generated, their choice of cleaners are spotty at best, one time doing good work and another time doing horrific work, and most importantly they are dishonest. I have talked with many people in Pine Mtn and Rob Stone is highly not thought of as professional.

As a former resident of Pine Mountain Lake, I was getting a bit homesick for Groveland. Searching the Web for a vacation rental there, I came across Yosemite Region Resorts. Since we have a dog, I was concerned that I might not be able to find an accommodation. Upon contacting them, I found the Yosemite Region Resorts team to be extremely helpful, and as such I quickly procured a rental near the golf course. Knowing that most of the homes in PML are older, I kept my expectations to a minimum. When we arrived at the house, I was very surprised how well kept the landscaping was, and then once inside, the home was immaculately clean and comfortable. Do not use this company for booking any rentals. (1) You won’t be notified about the fire evacuation order and area being inhabitable (when travelling with kids) ; (2) You won’t be able to cancel your trip if anything happens (regardless if you get insurance or not); (3)If you get a credit, you won’t be able to choose your desired dates (even if there are vacant properties); (4) to cancel your trip, you will be advised to go through insurance; and (5) once you cancel the trip, the insurance doesn’t apply.
