Pizza Factory — Restaurant in Sonora

Walked in and got that look, place was empty so walked to the register and the 2 ladies could not figure out where to look so they kept their eyes glued to the window, as if something eventful was happening outside. I stood there for a minute without a word to see if they would notice a customer standing in front of them. With all the words they could have choose, they greet me with "how can I help you". I politely replied "I would like to order pizza". She quickly said " the menu is over there". I took the menu to the kids and they pondered and agreed on cheese pizza( I thought kids would surprise me with something else). Meanwhile wife read the today's special and wanted to add a soup. The cards were swiped, internet did it's thing and the order was placed. So I decided to total the tip to the order of soup. I payed graciously. Transaction closed. Went back to my chair waiting for the pizza. After few minutes, she came to us unapologetically said they don't have the soup and would like to refund. We agreed and got cash back. Now I feel bad that I did not tip for their pizza. We got the pizza. Kids say it was burnt. Now I am feeling bad that I did not tip them for their effort to make us a pizza, so I think karma did it's thing and they did not deserve tip. Internet, please help if decide if I should give them another chance and tip them well this time or move on the next pizza...

Driving back from Yosemite we ran into this restaurant, we made a quick decision to stop and see. We looked them up on Google and they had good reviews. The place looked nice inside and it was clean. Only one other table was occupied. We ordered a half Pizza Factory special pizza and half pepperoni for the girls, an unlimited salad bar and some boneless wings. The cashier was really nice and she was also the cook, she took our order and got to it right away. The pizza was really tasty, crunchy with lots of sauce and a generous amount of toppings, we ordered a medium to shared, but wished we would have ordered a large instead, it was so good that we wanted more. The wings were also very tasty. The salad bar had really good compliments, only wish that the lettuce would have been more fresh, it looked like it had sat in the bowl for a while, but still tasted really good, we refilled it a few times, to make up for the large pizza we didn't order.
