Sleep Number — Hotel in Southern Pines

The hubby and I went to the Sleep Number store in Southern Pines a couple of weeks ago, looking to price and/or pick out the best bed for the both of us. The manager, Marla Williams, was outstanding! Now, I’m a recent amputee, and this is the first time I have been out shopping in public. Marla showed us all the types of beds that would work for my condition (foot and hand amputations), and what would also work for my hubby, who is an avid snorer. Marla took her time with us, and we tried almost every bed, pillow and bedding until we found the right fit. I highly recommend the Southern Pines store, which is beautifully designed, and I can’t say enough about Marla Williams. I will be recommending her to all of my friends. Recently my sister ,a close friend and I visited the Sleep Number store in Aberdeen NC . My sister and friend were thinking of purchasing a Sleep Number bed. We had a fantastic experience thanks to Marla Williams McFadden. She explained all the models and features while patiently answering all of our questions. More than 14 years ago I had purchased a sleep number bed. I noticed how much the beds have changed over the years since I had bought my first one. Marla’s product knowledge and attention to detail made us feel confident in our purchases. She never made us feel pressured, her patience and understanding of our needs made a huge difference. They were great in store. But when it came to delivery date, she was unable to geive us a delivery date. Apparently there wasn't a route for our area, this is after they got our money. Marla said she would follow up snd get us a date. 2 days later nothing. I contacted them myself and the earliest delivery date is 28 days from order date. 4 WEEKS! She said it would be approximately 2 weeks. Over $6000 spent and nothing to show for a month. The claim was they make the beds to order, seriously? It's not a custom bed, just a regular iLE. I wouldn't recommend getting a sleep number if you need a bed soon. We're going to have to buy a cheap bed to get us through because who knows if they really will deliver on time.
