Mattress Firm Cortez Commons — Hotel in Spring Hill

My wife and I decided we needed to upgrade our 10 year old mattress, but we were unsure just where to go to get all the facts from knowable people in the business of advertising and selling bedding. We hit a couple of well known home furnishings stores and came away scratching our head. We had encountered a couple of salesmen that also sold furniture and appliances and had no real expertise in the bedding field. They both tried to sell us a mattress that was on sale and being promoted in their advertising. We then went to the Mattress Firm store on Cortez blvd in Brooksville and we’re greeted by the store manager Brad. Brad asked us a lot of questions regarding our wants and sleeping patterns. Based on the information we gave him he explained a few different options which he would like to show us. Brad was very knowledgeable about all of the products in the store and gave us good solid advice and options There was no high sales pressure and Brad said it didn’t matter if we made a purchase or not he would do his best to educate us on the difference’s in mattresses. We made our decision based on the products available at Mattress Firm and from our in store experience with Brad, we are excited about our final purchase. For me any time someone spends $9,000 on a mattress you better be sure you are making the right choice. We couldn’t have been more confident and satisfied with our ultimate purchase. If your thinking about buying a new mattress, I highly recommend you give this store a chance to help you with your decision. Brad and his staff are fantastic. Then came the delivery and set up portion of the buying process. First rate- on time delivery with advance communication from the warehouse manager and the delivery guys. Very professional process- removed old bedding and then brought in all of the new stuff and systematically unpacked and put together the split king bed. Bought a mattress with Brad in May, spent HOURS in the store trying to find the best mattress for my boyfriend and I, ended up spending about $2,500 and received our mattress pretty quickly. We were warned that there’s a break-in period for the mattress and it won’t feel the same right away… so we waited 2 months and we were still not sleeping through the night, waking up multiple times in pain. So we went back in again and spent more hours trying out beds, Brad convinced us to wait longer to let the current mattress break-in more. So we waited another 1.5 months still sleeping miserably. We went back in again, and again spent multiple hours figuring out which bed was going to be best for us. We then did the exchange process and chose another bed spending another $800+ (exchange fees are outrageous). And now it’s been another 5 months and we are still miserable… I’d rather sleep on my couch than in my own bed. We called Brad and he said we used up our exchange already and there wasn’t much he could do, but he’d try and then call us back… it has been about 2 weeks and he still has yet to call us back… we went out and spent ANOTHER $150 on a mattress topper to put on our BRAND NEW mattress and are finally sleeping better. I’ll never make the mistake again of going with mattress firm… how is it okay to spend over $3,000 dollars on something we’re supposed to use every single night for at least 8 years and and not be happy with it. My husband and I were just stopping by to begin our search for new mattresses for our entire home because we just closed a little over a week ago. Lenore was absolutely amazing from the beginning with her warm greeting. She told us she was going to help us find the perfect mattresses for our family and she did just that! We had so much fun trying out all of the features to help narrow down our search and before we knew it, she helped us find the perfect mattresses within our budget. We had a bit of an issue when checking out as my husband forgot his card at home so we tried the contactless payment but our amount was too much for the payment to process contactless. With the help of Brad, we were able to get it all sorted out. Lenore set up our delivery and they arrived all on time as told by Lenore so we were beyond excited to try out the mattresses. Also, the delivery team were able to take out our old mattresses so we wouldn’t have to make a trip to the dump. Lenore, Brad, & Danny were all amazing and seeing them interact with one another and how funny they were made this trip all the more special. Customer service is going down the crapper but this mattress firm seriously exceeded our expectations and I will not hesitate to send someone to their store!!!
