Whoever the old lady in charge of the fabric is needs an attitude adjustment.That was some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.I went in this morning because I was going to make a ball gown and I was trying to find a specific fabric.She said to look in the Knit section.I already did that and didn’t see anything so that’s why I asked for help but she acted too good to be bothered.She didn’t even try to look around and help me she just stood there staring at me with a glare like god forbid she does her job?Then she snapped at me and said “OKAY it’s time to make a decision!!!”and that set me off.She was rushing me??I was probably going to spend around $200, but I’ll take my money somewhere else.When someone goes into a CRAFT store,chances are they are pretty excited,so when you are rude and act like you don’t want to be there,you can literally ruin someone’s day and make them not even want to do it anymore.I told her I’ll just look somewhere else for the correct fabric and she just groaned and said”okay whatever”…I offered to put the fabric I was looking at back and she just huffed and said she would do it.I can’t believe someone would treat a customer that way.I’ve worked in customer service for years and that kind of behavior and work ethic would never...
Read moreI was walking around looking for maybe an hour, an hour and a half. Lots of deals, lots of cool christmas stuff. I have a big family and was so excited to look at well… everything! I did not have a purse or backpack or anything. As i walked past an employee he asked me “do you need anything, you’ve been in here a while” i politely said “no, I’ve just been looking around mainly at the christmas stuff, I’m so excited!” and he was like “well the christmas stuff is over there” and i explained i’ve just been walking around looking at all the deals they’ve got going on right now. I walked away and left the store. I’ve spent good money here but I don’t think i’ll be coming back to this location as it felt very accusatory and uncomfortable. I feel I shouldn’t have to explain myself in a giant store full of christmas decor, crafts, & toys as an avid christmas fan, a mom, and a crafter. I felt judged & awkward after that encounter, maybe i’m just a little weird but I don’t think I should have to be embarrassed or uncomfortable just because I have a smile and am enjoying the craft store. Read moreI went to Hobby Lobby to buy 4 pieces 1 foot long each of K&S engineering .020 music wire for which I was charged $9.99 for the 4 pieces. Upon coming home I looked up the exact same purchase on Amazon & Hobby Linc (an online model railroad hobby shop) and to my amazement found out that their price was 69 cents for the same purchase. HOBBY LOBBY RIPPED ME OFF. I called and spoke to the store manager CHRIS who acted like he was a recruit of the store sales force. He did after some prompting look up the item by going to where the item was hung up and confirm the $9.99 price .After giving him the item # I thought he could look it up on the computer instead of making me wait He said "I have to look at the item" I had thought that the item was mis priced since several places were selling the same item for 7% yes I said 7% of what Hobby Lobb y charged me. I went back and demanded a refund which I was given.
MY ADVICE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE COST OF THE ITEM AND DON`T LET HOBBY LOBBY...
