Bungalows at Zion — Hotel in Springdale

Perfect stay in Zion!! We loved bungalow #5 Sundrop for our 3 night stay in Springdale. Brand new, attention to detail, maximized space and comfortable for a family of four (kids ages 8 and 11). Loved the loft upstairs with the balcony and extra water closet and sink in there. Temperatures were comfortable and had separate thermostats. Stairs are very steep but fun!! There are no closets but space underneath the stairs for luggage, hooks in the bedroom. Pack lightly and don’t bring huge suitcases. Everything we needed for amenities were there: plenty of towels, plates, cups, silverware and a Keurig with cups. Kids loved the hot cocoa! Smart TVs in both the bedroom and loft. If you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in late ask for a bungalow not next to the road. I used the ear plugs provided. It didn’t bother me much because traffic doesn’t start until after sunrise and we are early risers. They are building more bungalows further away from the street. This place was really perfect for what we needed. We liked how it was in a central location, but also allowed for a little more privacy after our long and exhausting days of hiking! We also enjoyed having a private living area in addition to our bedroom. Service was great in that they allowed for early check-in when we arrived sooner than we anticipated we would. My one comment for improvement is that I feel the place could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. There was a lot of dust everywhere, particularly inside the vent of the AC/heating unit, as well as a thick layer on the very top shelf in the bathroom, which is where our bath towels were located. I stayed at the Bungalows at Zion for my first trip to Zion and I couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. We stayed at #11 Yucca and it had everything we needed for our stay. It was very spacious and clean. We didn’t hear our neighbors at all either! The kitchenette was perfect for breakfast before our narrows hike. The bungalows are in a central location in Springdale which made it super convenient for getting to and from the park and walking distance to many restaurants. The views were the best part!
