The hotel was okay, it met standards but there were many small things that made our stay feel less perfect. Upon check in the room was very spacious for a double queen bed room, and bathroom spacious as well. The amenities are lacking a bit, in the bathroom it was just minimal 1 makeup remover wipe and a shower cap and hand soap. It comes with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash but our conditioner was out and stayed empty for 2 days (as I thought the cleaners might notice and refill), until I requested front desk to refill it. In terms of cleanliness some of the towels had some minor stains and the bathroom had rust and brown stains in the bathtub so it didn’t feel super clean. The worst part was that when I entered the hotel the sheets were soooooo pilly and rough, they didn’t feel soft and welcoming as a hotel should have. Those sheets should’ve been thrown out years ago, I wouldn’t even keep sheets like that at my own house they were so worn down, bumpy, and uncomfortable, I asked front desk the next morning if I could please have them changed and got a very sassy and rude response that “usually requests like this should come in before 9AM and it’s not guaranteed that they can be changed” (I requested this around 10AM before the cleaners had even appeared on my floor). I found this response extremely off putting and inhospitable, since it’s not like I caused the sheets to be rough and uncomfortable and was simply making a request to make my stay better and more comfortable, and I also requested it very kindly and didn’t rush them to do anything- just by end of day or the next day so I wouldn’t have to sleep on rough uncomfortable sheets the entire 5 days I was there. They ended up changing them but I didn’t appreciate that kind of reply. 2 days after, the cleaners left their dirty rags, some random extra pillowcases on random surfaces by my personal items on the desk and night side table, It was very careless and unprofessional and who knows where the dirty rags have been, and where those random pillowcases came from if they were clean or not, next to my personal items. They also didn’t finish cleaning the bathroom and there were missing towels and didn’t finish taking the dirty towels out. Moving on, the location was okay but one of the farther hotels from the Zion National Park entrance in the town, I did like the pool and the restaurants nearby. Lastly, for the complimentary breakfast it was basic but good and I appreciated having that every morning before we left for...

Read moreStayed here for part of our visit to Zion because Cable Mountain Lodge (frankly, a much better option) could only accommodate part of our stay.||The hotel was decent. Check in was a breeze, very courteous front desk staff. I was disappointed to find out that the room issued was an ADA (ie, accessible) room, which I specifically did not request when I made the booking. Ironically enough, and though none of my family are disabled, the digital card reader to the building hallway right outside the room (062) was broken, so we had to trudge our belongings through another access door to get to the room, an annoying inconvenience.||We noticed immediately that there was dirt outside the room on the hallway carpeting, and on entering it, it was quite clear that the vinyl floors had not been properly cleaned. My wife kept on remarking that she would not walk around the room without a pair of flip flops because she could feel the dirt on her feet. Similar situation was encountered in the bathtub. The tub floor was dirty / stained. My daughter put down a towel to prevent her stepping on it. Also, the knob controls to the shower were overly complicated, but I was able to figure things out with a call to the very helpful front desk. Otherwise, the room was OK, aside from being unable for the life of me to locate a room safe... Not that it really mattered because housekeeping service for this facility only cleans every OTHER day, and we were only there for two nights. ||Other issues we encountered- parking was very limited. I had to park at the other end of the facility far away from our room. ||With regard to the breakfast, it was decent, just about on par with what I've seen at other hotels of this class. Eggs were unnecessarily salty, barley edible. Kids loved waffle making station. Oatmeal was good. Coffee was good.||Some good points to the hotel- again kudos to the very courteous front desk staff. They were really great. The property outside the buildings were very nicely manicured, and the views were stellar.||Overall a very decent stay, but for the money, would always choose staying at Cable Mountain because of the proximity to the park and at least from what we experienced, a...
