FeelLove Coffee at Zion — Restaurant in Springdale

So I normally wouldn’t write a review about a place so far from my home but my experience here was horrible, it killed my whole morning vibe. I was on the way to Zion and decided to stop in for a coffee and immediately I was greeted by an employee cleaning with windex. Odd choice I would figure they could afford to clean tables with a more appropriate substance. Next I decided to use the restroom before ordering and found their hot water to not be operating, which is concerning since I would believe that would affect the quality of how they clean their coffee and food preparation equipment. And finally, I sat down to enjoy a truly amazing view and a sub par coffee on the patio and kicked up a chat with a Springdale local. I began telling them my concerns about the hot water problems, and they then told me how awhile back the toilets backed up, stunk up the coffee shop, and then supposedly the owners told employees to keep the building open for business. How awful, she said she walked in and right back out. I was honestly surprised to see her back there, must have been the view, or possibly the lack of good coffee shops in the area. I apologize to anyone who has ever stepped foot into this establishment. I will say the employees were very helpful in assisting me in ordering my coffee, and I don’t believe it’s their responsibility for the terrible experience and coffee. It’s obvious to me the building needs new ownership or management because whoever is now is doing an atrocious job. Stop by the gas station and get a cup a joe. It’s way better I’m sure, and maybe they will let you enjoy the patio view with a decent coffee. And the fact that the so called owner is now basically calling me a liar in response is absolutely hilarious , I’m not sure to why you would think I would want to lie, I merely want to put my experience out there. It happened, sorry not sorry, your coffee shop is deplorable. Do better “owner”, maybe look into complaints and don’t take offense to them. Hopefully next time I can leave a good review.✌️And is the tankless heater installed in a dry/clean area? Because it’s pretty easy for moisture and dust to ruin those pilot lights, make the heater less effective. Zion is an area where any business can do well regardless of how poor the quality of the product is, due to the huge constant throng of tourists to the national park, which brings me to write this review. First the good-the two employees were very friendly, professional and really perfect employees. They re definitely five star quality people. Now the reason for one star rating: The coffees are average at best. The window sill of scones were the same ones over a period of days. But the worst part was the "egg" cup-if you can call it that. The eggs (if that's what there actually are) are prepared as a glop at some other location, shipped to Zion, and then just heated up at the Zion location. As they come already mixed we have no way of knowing if they are partially artificial, have nasty additives, what percent are actually eggs, and most worrisome, we do not know how long they have been mixed as a glop and how long they have been been sitting around before being shipped to the Zion location. The texture of the eggs was not natural. Consequently I did not want to play gastronomic roulette to see how they would taste and what my stomach would think. Had an unfortunate experience at FeelLove Coffee. I placed an online order the night before, to make sure I could get my food/drink and leave for my flight on time.

I waited around for my order about 10 minutes, then was told that my order had not been received, though I had multiple confirmation emails to pick up at this location.

To their credit the staff went to working on the lost order right away, though I ended up waiting around for my order a total of 40 minutes after the scheduled pickup time.

I got the vegetarian breakfast croissant sandwich. Apparently FeelLove was out of eggs, so I ended up getting essentially an avocado sandwich. I was not offered any alternatives or discounts for this change.

The latte was good enough, though not made with the milk I had asked for.

Would not recommend the strawberry banana smoothie, it somehow came out with the color and consistency of an iced coffee?

The double Dutch waffles came out of the kitchen cold.
