I walked in and was greeted by Kurt, who was pleasant and friendly. After telling him I didn't have a set budget, but that I didn't want to spend a fortune either he got to work.. He asked me about my sleep habits, what I was looking for in a mattress and what I was looking to accomplish with a new mattress. He also asked me if I had any back issues, hip issues, Sleep Apnea or any other issues while I slept.. He took me around and I tried about 12 different mattresses.. I could not decide. He had also shown me how beneficial an adjustable base bed would be for me and my issues. I had it narrowed down to 2 or 3.. I asked him to give me a little time I wanted to go back through each one again.. He was more then happy to oblige.. After spending almost 3 hrs in the store looking and testing I picked one out.. The entire experience was easy and relaxing.. I never felt pressured or that I annoyed him in anyway.. He was able to set me up for Delivery and Setup within 48 hrs, and got me the best deal available..I would recommend him and Matress...

Yes, Yes, Yes. I went to Mattress Firm in Springfield, Pennsylvania and got my dream pillow top mattress. This was my second visit. I got to lie-on, roll-on, and sit-on, I wanted to take a nap, but had to get home for the Eagles/Jaguar game on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Rich was excellent at getting me to buy this particular mattress and not letting me buy the cheap, cheaper, cheapest mattress, because I fugal. Due to his knowledge and expertise in the field and explaining the difference between the two, but it was still my decision.

I had taken a picture of the other mattress during my last visit, which was on sale then and today the price was much higher. Rich stated he would honor the sale price if I wanted to buy. That mattress didn’t have my name on it, the more expensive pillow top won today. Even though I spent more money, I happier with my brand new floor sample mattress.

I will never buy from Mattress Firm again after my experience with Kurt at the Springfield location.

He was ready to put through the order with the full list price and I had to actually ask to be charged the advertised holiday sale price. I also requested the advertised free shipping offer for purchases over $500 and was told there wasn’t one, but when I double checked again at home there WAS a free shipping promotion. I was given misinformation on the combined height of the mattress and standard box spring set and it ended up being several inches higher than I wanted. Switching out the standard box spring for the low one would have cost me another $150.

If you absolutely have to buy a mattress from Mattress Firm, order online so you can get the correct measurements and any offered sales/promotions. We purchased another mattress set at Mattress Factory and had a great experience, so I’d...
